A helpful tip to see if a rumor is true, Go to google.com and search for things like "Indiana Beach Amusement Park Closing" or "Indiana Beach Amusement Park Shutting Down" or "Indiana Beach Amusement Park Seeking New Buyer" or "Indiana Beach Amusement Park files Layoff notice with state"

Google can hold a lot of HIDDEN information if you search correctly and go PAGES deep! If you search right, by changing up the wording and phrasing, you might find something.

If you find NOTHING there, most likely it is that, just a rumor, becuase in my experience? Anything happening to anything, usually is leaked on a page hiding deep inside google.com or is posted on many other sites of said rumor!

If you do find more rumors about this info on google, then its a big rumor that might just have some merit to it. Other then that! Its just a rumor at the moment. You could also keep an eye out on the local government websites in the area for "Mass Layoff Notices" or "announcement of closure" or anything like that. States usually post those filings archived on there websites even if its not publicly announced!

I think getting a really expensive coaster, and it only taking so much capacity was a bad decision for them to buy that (Steel Hawg). Was this a last ditch effort from them to get people to come to the park? Santa's Village messed up badly with buying that Typhoon roller coaster, and the park is now gone.

I've heard bad things about Indiana Beach from last year based on the employees, and operations so are people just not coming anymore because of that? If you heard a rumor, this is just a rumor right now. You can say any park is going down now like Kiddieland (is because of family dispute, and not because it's not busy), Six Flags they could say because of bankruptcy, Cedar Fair you can say because of huge debt, and so on. For Cedar Fair, I don't understand the reason for them to build Intimidator. The park just got Dominator. The people don't know it's from another park, and neither do I care just so I could ride it again. The same thing goes with Kings Island. They just got Firehawk. Why do they need Diamondback so fast after? At Kings Island, I seen lack of flats (except for kiddie section) being the problem.

Until some sort of announcement is made about this or any parks, we can sit here until hell freezes over saying which park will close or not.
