Gwazi Experience

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.
Postby JordanSDMF on October 4th, 2008, 7:45 pm
Ok, I have been thinking about this for a while, and I think you can help me out.

I have heard from so many people gwazi was an amazing ride. I have ridden it once, and it was a big weird blur. The first thing that happend was my lap bar was really loose, and there weren't any seat belts, and it was scaring me. Second, it was my first time on like.. a newer wooden roller coaster that has new technologies, and third, the people's hat in front of me flew off and like hit my face.

If these things didn't happen, would the ride have been more enjoyable?
It was honestly the weirdest experience ever.

A hat hitting you in the face makes it weird? My guess is the coaster just didn't live up to your expectations and you got sad. :( That or Gwazi just sucks!

My advice is don't have expectations of coasters and then you will be a lot better off!

JordanSDMF, What you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling incoherent post were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this forum is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul. :)

Gwazi has seatbelts.

Put the crackpipe down please.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Agreed with everything said so far.

Though for my 2 cents, when Gwazi opened it was a pretty good ride, but PTC+GCII=Bad. It has aged into a fairly rough mess, at least as of the last time I rode it in 04. And as stated, Gwazi did open with seatbelts and they have been there all along.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

I wasnt impressed with th cpaster at all when I rode it several years ago. Very little air time and not a enjoyable ride, I hope its better this Dec. when I get a chance to ride it again.

The ride would probably still be bad if all those things didn't happen. I don't think that ride is amazing at all. It's not the roughest wooden coaster I've been on, but it's pretty bad in my opinion.

Gwazi = another would be good GCI coaster ruined by PTCs *cough*Wildcat*cough* it is a shame because they seemed to have good airtime and seemed like the flybys would've been cool if they were dueling...Next time your in FL drive the 3 1/2 hours south and ride the Dania Beach Hurricane (Best wooden coaster in the south east in my opinion)
I'm irreverent and stuff...

Yeah, i'm not smoking crack, Gwazi was just a big messy blur, and the ride blows. It looks good, but it's horrible.
