Disney is definitely going to be struggling a little bit these next couple of years. Between Rip'n Rocket and Simpsons at USF, Harry Potter at IoA, and this at Sea World, I think just about everyone travelling to Orlando between now and 2010 will be altering to visit these, I know I sure will be!!! I'm super excited now for my grad trip in two years!!!!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
/\ I don't think I really agree, I could give you a list of upcoming attactions/serious rehauls (Space Mountain closing for a year or more starting Jan 2009 that is if it doesn't get delayed again, Imagination rehaul, new DAK attraction, new family coaster for DHS, and many other things) that are being done to the rides at the WDW Resort and don't forget Toy Story Mania opened today, some of these are to counter the new rides at the other Orlando parks.
Anyways, I still think SWO needs more attractions, but their shows are amazing. This attraction will be a great addition to the many great rides already in Central Florida and give people more incentive to go to Sea World, which Aquatica is to do too. It is going to be a good couple of years in Central Florida with multiple new coasters, Harry Potter land and new themed rides.

^Also the new American Idol Experience, new Contemporary tower, Jungle Cruise update, Star Tours 2.0, possible Test Track refurb (GM contract going up soon), some updated Innoventions exhibits, and some other things too
I'd say WDW has nothing to fear.
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
If you want to, you could add in the Japan ride that has been long awaited is being looked at again. You didn't mention it, but have the picture, Little Mermaid in 20K's site. They have so much going on down there in the next few years, it will be amazing. Not only for Disney, but all the parks down there. All these additions by Disney will spark the other parks to keep adding to, which will bring about great times.

UPDATE: They are now preparing and ready to pour the footers for this ride. I do have pictures below take with a cell phone and at the Whale and Dolphin Theater.
