Who here agrees with me that every wood at MT. Olympus is rough? I went there 2 last month and it was horrible! Hades shakes your head like crazy unless you sit in front. And it's not every wood that's rough. Viper here at SFGAm isn't too bad and is the best wood from my opinion. Does anybody else got any wild stories from that park?
I think this was suppose to be in trip planning.

I dont finf the coasters rough at the park at all. Wooden coasters are supposed to give you a ride that is rougher than a steel coaster, and how can yopu complain about the back seat ride on Cyclops?? My only complain would be only having one coaster on Hades, when you are building a coaster of that size why wouldnt the park invest in adding a train and trasnfer track??
Now the park operations are awful and pale in comparsion to SFGAMm the only thing surprising is that np guest or employee hasnt gotten seriously hurt, there were several times when we rode Zeus/Cyclops where the ride-op was too lazy too even check our restraints before sending the coaster train down the track and then sitting/resting on the track as the coaster train pulled into the station.
It is a nice developing park thats need alot higher standards and too hire some employees who can actually speak english.
I'm just use to Cedar Point and SFGAm where the wood is smoother.
Also my harness on Hades didn't lock in the front row and the op didn't check my harness. So I told him about it before we left the station and he said to me something in a foreign language. Then we departed from the station with only a seat belt to hold us in. The people there are rude. My dad knows the owners of the park. He sold a car to them at Bryden Motors in Beloit. I wonder why they went to
Beloit for a car and nothing closer like Madison or something.

Actually Hades has gotten awful this year around August. I go to the park about 2-4 times a year and Ive been riding Avalanche and Mt Olympus coasters since they opened. And I can say that Hades is now horrible. I sat in the front seat and the first drop rattled my stomach so much that I couldn't breath. Before I could say that Hades was smoother then Avalanche, but now I can say that hades is twice as rough as avalanche. Avalanche felt like glass compared to Hades.
But on the good side, Cyclops has been running great and Zeus is actually smooth and fun. Unlike the years before when is wasn't much better then Hades.
^I'll agree with tp, but only to a point. When I went about a month ago Hades was good fun for the first maybe 7/8ths of the ride, but once you hit the final figure 8 anywhere you sat in the train really really hurt. Painful vibrations, and I love The Boss.
I actually thought Zeus and Cyclops were running smoother though. I love those rides.

Indiana Beach used to have the same problem with employees (particulary on Cornball Express) crossing/sitting on the track during the ride cycles. However, after an employee was KILLED from this, they seemed to have really cleaned up the act. Let's hope that Mt. Olympus doesn't wait til that point. I've never actually been there, but i've heard nothing but good things about their rides and i can't imagine any of them being as bad as Mean Streak or the Boss!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
You must have caught Wildcat on a bad day cause I had a really smooth ride on it the day I went in August. I will agree though on Twister at Knoebel's. It could use some retracking.
