Does anyone know what the deal is with the Flying Turns coaster at Knoebels? When is it supposed to open, sometime this decade? How long ago did construction start on this coaster, well over a year at least it seems. RCDB has it listed as opening 2007, its Septmeber, the park closes after October, and the rides still under construction....

there are still issues being worked out on the ride. It's being built as a working prototype and the official word from the park all along has been "it opens when it opens" and no date has ever been set during construction rumor had it that it may open for PPP, but trains havent arrived from larson yet, still some tweaks that need to be done.

I would assume it will open sometime next season.

^That's what most are assuming right now.

Although, with this ride, no matter when it opens, i applaude the park for attempting to replicate a classic ride. So even if it IS a year late, I still think it will be a great addition to the park!
