Stuck on King Chaos?

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

I was just wondering, has anyone ever gotten stuck on King Chaos. I got stuck on King Chaos on 7/29/07 for 20 long minutes :x . I was sooooooooooooooooo angry. The sun was beating down on us and the operators asked if we wanted to play Simon Says while we waited. They were being sarcastic saying "Simon says stand up", "Simon says be happy."
Fortunately we weren't stuck upside-down :!: . I don't think I'll get on King Chaos for the rest of the year.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

That's a pretty funny thing for the op to do, though. I always appreciate an unexpected sense of humor.

It's actually funny that you mention this. I was stuck on King Chaos the year it opened. It wasn't very long, but we went through the whole first half of the cycle, and they stopped the ride. We waited it out, and in the end, only four people did. They ended up starting the cycle over again, so technically, the first ride i ever got on it was one and a half cycles.

Doesn't the ride stop is the someone is too tall for the restraint. Because I remember I was on it and it stopped half way through the ride. And the mechanics can and said I was too tall to ride. I got off and everyone else got to ride.

happened to me once on the Top Spin at Kennywood, not sure what causes that as there are sensors and before the ride starts the OTSR's have to be locked lower than a certain point, but mid ride the ride stopped and the said I had to get off the OTSR wasnt down far enough.

Maybe the censor isn't activated until you are upsidown and your restraint goes up a little. So your fine at the start, but when it goes up less then a inch it activates.

My first ride on King Chaos ever, in 2004, I got stuck. At the very top, for 15 minutes. I got an exit pass too.

Disney sprinkles Pixie Dust to make their rides reliable

Yep, the restraint does need to be down to a certain point. I'm sure there is a small gap between the locking mechanism, which can cause a fault. Anyone working KC who have large guests wont let them pull down the restraint to lock. They (are supposed) to make them get off without a reattempt at locking the restraint.

That's weird. I'm 6'6", technically too tall to ride. But my first time at GAm, I didn't know that, and I just got on and had no problems. Though I am really skinny, so the only thing really stopping the restraints from going down would be my shoulders, but they don't really interfere with them.

I also got stuck at the top on my first ride on this thing. They just brought it down, made a really fat lady get off, and then we started up again! I can now say i've ridden King Chaos 10 and A HALF times 8)
