for the type of ride she is....i'd definitely call her reliable. i mean, it was the first type of its coaster ever built, and she is up and running quite frequently her opening year....i mean look at deja vu, they still can't get it right. TTD has the most dedicated technicians and what have you working on her 24-7....if any ride in a park was closed at the start of the day....TTD would be the one i'd know would be running by days end. they work extremely hard to make it work.
But... Cedar Point is just one park, Six flags on the other hand is a large chain of parks so the techs at CP can focus one just one park as to six flags techs that have to focus on all the parks (which they don't. To busy with Magic Mountain...)
They own 7 parks (Cedar Point, Dorney Park, Knotts Berry Farm, Valleyfair, Michigan's Adventure, World's of Fun, Camp Snoopy). Then they also own I think 5 water parks. http://www.cedarfair.com/

yeah, cedar fair has hopped on the Intamin train. and is being takin on one heck of a ride, while Six Flags has still remained loyal to B&M....building one clone after another.....I WANT AN INTAMIN!! (V2 doesn't count....i mean rocket, giga, continuous circuit...ANYTHING)...
well, look at the headache that Vekoma has become for SFGAm....and many other parks across the country with its failed Deja Vu (i realize it works...but seriously guys...) and just tell me this....name one coaster that those other companies have built that is better than an Intamin rocket....if you want the best, you go to the best...and right now thats Intamin....
Since I would have to say CCI, but they are gone, I'll say S&S-Arrow's wood division, and Gravity Group. Both made of old CCI employees. Nothing can beat a CCI coaster, except when it's in a Six Flags park... *coughvilliancough*I doubt the 2 current rockets are as good as everyone makes them out to be. I'm sure its one of the most exilerating experiences you can have, but probably because its different. When it wears off, I'm sure they will be just another launch coaster. Hershey's rocket, though. That looks like it will be a top 10 coaster, and be able to stay there. It actually does more than a top hat (which I have yet to experience, but looks great, but not enough to make a coaster,) and overbanked turns (which I get no sensation from other than a rotating view of my surroundings.)
Well that's your opinion and you are entitled to it. I personally think that the rocket coasters are as good as everyone makes them out to be, but the new one at Hershey Park has the potential of being even better than the current ones. There's something about going 120mph though.
My Top 5: 1)TTD, 2)Millennium Force, 3)Raptor, 4)Deja Vu, 5)Raging Bull

i realize that it can be easy to think that "just" a top-hat and spiral down is nothing special...but believe me.....TTD is the best roller coaster ever built....well, second maybe to MF. it seems like just such simple elements like that would be boring after a while, but i guarantee you a 120 mph launch will never get old....

So you are saying that Intamin is better than B&M?
