Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.
On October 23rd 2003, Steel Dragon 2000 (located In Japan) had an incident that shut it down for 3 years. Now in Early Augest they are going to start testing it! Which this may lead to its grand reopening In Mid Augest!
I for one hope this ride will reopen, becvause I plan on riding it one day, and it looks like a really fun roller caoster.

a wheel shot off, and part of the train/car (I forgot which) Derailed. The wheel ended up hitting a guy on his hip, but he is fine.

Three years, and this wasn't a HUGE accident either. Wow. I think only 2 people were injured, and they are both okay.

They closed the ride down for so many years because of Japanese superstitions. Had this happened in America, the ride would have probably re-opened within a couple weeks/months.

I still can't beleive it was closed for 3 years. I mean it was sitting there, its also one of the tallest roller coasters in Japan, which is very strange.
