A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

My guess is a partially enclosed mine coaster, featuring a 100 ft. drop.

^

Nice to see Dollywood getting another new ride so quickly. I need to ride Thunderhead, and I need to go there. It's one of the few large parks I haven't been to

I could be wrong, but I thought that I had heard that this would be the first US installation of a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter. Then again, my memory could be faulty. :) Go to http://www.rcdb.com/ig2229.htm for some photos of what I'm referring to.

I saw one of those awhile ago. That first drop looks so intense, and the entire ride is just amazing looking.

I thought i heard that too! It is supposedly a Eurofighter with heavy theming and partially enclosed. No matter what it is, however, judging by the park and all of it's rides, it will be mind boggling with theming and probably a great ride, they still have the only Arrow looping coaster that i have ever enjoyed.

Is it possible that it might be a Eurofighter?

Busch still has the exclusive on Dive Machines right?

Just some thoughts.

The Eurofighter is by Gerastuler. I think the rights to the Dive Machines apply only to B&M.

Anyway, this coaster looks freaking cool..for some reason it remnindsme of Resident Evil 4.

Looks like a good ride.

That would be why I was asking if it was possible that it is a Eurofighter since a B&M Dive Machine would be out of the question assuming Busch still had the exclusive rights to them.

The teaser image really reminds me of the first drop on a Eurofighter.

I think it will be a Euro-fighter too, but with a 100 foot drop. I am going to stick with my 100 foot drop

Gerstlauer EuroFighter is one of the coasters I'm looking forwards to most on my upcoming European trip.

Also while the video I have is gone from the site, there is a similar video on the gerstlauer website for Eurofighter...

http://www.gerstlauer-rides.de/english/Down_E.html

the video is Eurofighter Typhoon at Bobbejaaland (happens to be the one I'll be riding). Video I have is of that exact same ride set up at the Gerstlauer factory and you can see some other rather interesting projects they were doing at the time(probably why that vid is gone) :)
