Nice to see Dollywood getting another new ride so quickly. I need to ride Thunderhead, and I need to go there. It's one of the few large parks I haven't been to
I could be wrong, but I thought that I had heard that this would be the first US installation of a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter. Then again, my memory could be faulty. Go to http://www.rcdb.com/ig2229.htm for some photos of what I'm referring to.

I thought i heard that too! It is supposedly a Eurofighter with heavy theming and partially enclosed. No matter what it is, however, judging by the park and all of it's rides, it will be mind boggling with theming and probably a great ride, they still have the only Arrow looping coaster that i have ever enjoyed.
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter

That would be why I was asking if it was possible that it is a Eurofighter since a B&M Dive Machine would be out of the question assuming Busch still had the exclusive rights to them.
the video is Eurofighter Typhoon at Bobbejaaland (happens to be the one I'll be riding). Video I have is of that exact same ride set up at the Gerstlauer factory and you can see some other rather interesting projects they were doing at the time(probably why that vid is gone)
