I think it would be nice to add that ride to Epcot and replace Spaceship Earth. I thought Spaceship Earth was kind of boring and it would help get people into Epcot since it would be a brand new roller coaster. Now, what to theme it after.....

It would be impossible to change that ride. You would have to take the whole top off of it which would close the area around it. Then how would people get into the park? I think that ride actually supports the whole thing. Ill try to find a pic of when it was under contruction.

Haha, I've actually been on the one pictured, Eurosat at Europa Park in Germany... At least that one was actually cool, except that I felt like I was going to be decapitated continuously throughout the whole thing, and that it was super cramped. :)
"Wow, look dad! They got 8 packs o' Kidneys!"

Heres a good picture. It really shows how much of a mess it could be by trying to change this ride. I really think its impossible though. That ride just needs to be updated or something. It is a classic. One of the few actually left at Epcot.

No way! Spaceship Earth is the hub of Epcot. But I do agree something needs to be done to the finale since technology has superseded what the current finale describes.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

Soarin has really gotten people in to Epcot as well as Mission: Space. Epcot has come a long way since it opened. People use to say it was too educational, and thats not what you want on a vacation. In 1998 the park started to see improvements with Test Track, then a few laters with M:S and last year Soarin. Who knows what will be next.

I didn't even think about how much work that would be. I just remember riding it last year and finding it rather boring and since I loved Universe of Energy (which most find EXTREMELY boring), I assumed most thought it was boring as well. Sorry for the opinion, just thinking out of the box. :)

Technically, it's Epcot. The Walt Disney Company decided it's no longer the Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow and EPCOT was changed to Epcot.

As nice as it would be, its almost impossible for a coaster to be placed into spaceship earth. First off, all of Future World would need to be closed due to construction. And if anyone doesnt know, the parking lot is outside future world. This would leave the Countries entrance open only and theres no parking lot out there except for at the resorts. Back to the construction, the way the "ball" design isnt the same as Eurosat or whatever. It was never intended to hold a coaster. If it was attempted, there would be too much force on the floor of the "ball" and cause it to collapse. For anyone who didnt know Seimans who is now sponsering spaceship earth intended to have the coaster placed inside but after researching on how to make it possible, the plan was scrapped due to in being nearly impossible to happen.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
