These are restaurants or fast food that aren't so close to where you live. Quite frankly, I thought of this topic from bigb9675 (because of Big Boy's). Maybe, that's not what the b stands for, but oh well.
One place I like is Big Boy's- That Swiss Miss burger tastes so good with some mash potatoes!! The Big Boy sandwich I tried once, and it just tastes like a Big Mac. I don't think for Big Macs much at all.
Shoney's - This place used to be in IL (WI that I knew of), and now it's elsewhere. This place is quite good. I usually just go for the buffet.
Chick Fil A - They sell mostly chicken as in the name. The fries are really good, and I think that's what really comes back. They have a sandwich that tastes like the Premium Chicken at Mcdonald's, and a sandwich that tastes like the McChicken also. There shake is so good being Oreo also.
Jack in the Box- The Jumbo Jack is really enjoyable in my opinion. I haven't gotten anything else because that's so good, and it's not like I go there even every year.
Ponderosa - There is one in IL so I won't say about it, but I like it.
Hardee's - I thought I liked Hardee's, but I guess I don't really anymore. The thing I got from this place was just a Double Cheeseburger, and that just tastes like Burger King. in my opinion, the mushroom and swiss stunk along with the cheese steak burger.
Whataburger - The only thing that allured me to this place was the sign. It reminds of Wonder Woman's logo. To me, I didn't care for it much. It was iffy at best. If everything was horrible around, I would go here, but otherwise forget it.

Aw man, I love Whattburger. At least back in 03 last time I had it, could have changed.
My favorite out of state restaurant (though there are a few downstate) would have to be Waffle House, nothing beats those hashbrown. I always get a triple order double covered. T-Bone steak there isn't bad either for what it is. I've done at least one 10 day trip eating WH 3 times a day almost every day.
In n Out burger on the west coast is pretty respectable also, nothing spectacular but just being different from what we have around here gives it an advantage for me.
Whenever I'm out of state I always try to eat stuff I can't find around here.
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073
All it is is just your typical burger and fries but they just LOAD everything with thousand island dressing. The animal fries were just fries with a piece of "American" cheese (you know that individually wrapped stuff) and covered in Thousand Island dressing.
The best thing about Jack in the Box is affordibility, 99 cents for two tacos so its good when your broke. In N Out is also really good, ive never had anything with thousand island dressing there. Gotta be really careful though as those places food is pretty much heart-attacks in a bun so I dont go there very often.
If anyone is ever in North Carolina, stop in the city of Lexington, and go to a place called Lexington Barbecue. Order a BBQ Sandwich and Cheerwine (soda). Incredible stuff.

Somewhere in Florida a village is missing its idiot. He can be found in Washington D.C.
I have been waiting 10 years to get back to a Shoney's. They were a staple of my families drives to and from FL every year. They also used to have one in Springfield. The Shoney's bear ruled.
Kroll's, except I think there's supposed to be one in Chicago
(sings)If you want to be my Chang-y, doesn 't matter if your black or white, or brown, or blue, or green, or red, or orange, or mauve, or yellow... 2010 trips- Dollywood, SFGAm, maybe SoCal
White Castle...There are virtually NONE of these in Wisconsin that I know of (If anyone knows of one, please let me know..ROAD TRIP) The only time I get to eat at this place is when I go to SFGAM.
Sonics...Although we are getting one in GB, the last time I had Sonic's was when I was in Florida.
Quick question. Is Carl's Jr. the same as Hardees?
Have a take and don't suck, it's the Jim Rome Show!

A friend I work with wanted to open one with a friend of his in Las Vegas a few years ago (do you have any clue how much money they would make with one there) as Vegas does not have one. It turns out they are privately owned, unlike BK and McDonalds who franchise their restaurants. I found out that every White Castle is owned by someone in the same family.
This is why you don't see them in some places. As far as I know they are only in the midwestern states, New York, and New Jersey. They do have a location somewhere in Wisconsin, though. Not sure where.

Can Chick Fil-A take over Culvers? That would be good.
For Orland Park, and Aurora locations, I don't think where they are putting it, is a great idea. They are thinking well, they are busy areas, but there is just so much in those areas, that those places could do bad because of so much competition. To me, places like Libertyville, and Rosemont would be great locations. They seem like busy places, but not much competition. They could take over the Krispy Kremes in Rosemont, and Glendale Heights. I would say no to Gurnee though because of high competition.
