Polar Bear Mauls Woman at Zoo

ARTICLE

(April 11) - A woman stunned onlookers by jumping into a polar bear enclosure at a zoo Friday, suffering serious injuries after one of the four bears inside attacked her.

Zookeepers at the Berlin Zoo fought off the attacking bear from outside the enclosure as they pulled the German woman, 32, to safety, Britain’s Daily Telegraph reported.
The woman, who jumped into a moat in the enclosure, suffered serious bites to her arms and legs. In December, a man who jumped into the same enclosure also survived after zookeepers baited the polar bears away with beef. It was not clear why the woman jumped into the area.

Obviously, the genetic pool is getting much shallower.

Some pictures of this idiot being nipped if you follow the link.
Somewhere in Florida a village is missing its idiot. He can be found in Washington D.C.

It's a shame she didn't die. Would make for one hell of a Darwin Award.

I Got One Better.

July 16th, 1999

Pt. 1
ORLANDO , Fla. - The parents of a man found naked and dead on the back of a killer whale at SeaWorld Orlando are suing the marine park, alleging the dangerous orca was portrayed as a huggable stuffed toy, a lawyer for the family said Monday.

Patricia and Michael Dukes of Columbia, S.C., filed suit Sept. 10 in Orange County Circuit Court seeking several million dollars for pain and suffering at the loss of their only son, Daniel, 27, a drifter who drowned in July in a whale tank at the Florida theme park.

Attorney Patricia Sigman said SeaWorld is legally liable because it portrayed the killer whale as human loving.

SeaWorld general manager Vic Abbey said the park would vigorously fight the lawsuit.

Pt. 2
WEST PALM BEACH, Florida - Remember back when a man was found dead and naked in the pool with a killer whale at Sea World? Now, months after he decided to "swim" in the perilous buff, his parents are filing a suit against Sea World because they failed to adequately post that swimming in the pool with killer whales was dangerous.

They sued cause there weren't enough warning signs AND the stuffed animals in the gift shop didn't properly display the violence of the animals

I couldn't Make this Up if I Tried.
