Let our prayers be with the victims, and their families today.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!
If it walks like socialist, quacks like socialist, smells like a socialist, .... it's a socialist. Hope, and change we can believe in.

That day was the day that changed America forever.

I was in a classroom watching it on a TV without knowing what was really going on (I was at an age before I started wearing Glasses) and not getting any info from Teachers or Facility.

I remember I was in Resource/study hall and school had only been in session 35 minutes when this happened and some crazy chick was running through the halls telling everyone. I had no idea what they were talking about and when I was going to my next class I saw in the common area where we had a big screen tv what was going on and then it was on the news when I got home from school. I pray for those families.

I was in 3rd grade. The only thing I remember is watching the tv for most of the day.

I remember waking up for school and hearing about it initially on the news. As I was watching, the 2nd plane hit the WTC. I had to go to school a little later and we watched some of the coverage in my first hour class. After a while, the teacher turned it off and we went on with class. A few minutes later, someone came in and told us that a plane had hit the Pentagon. I didn't know what to think. Everyone in my class wanted to watch more of this, but we couldn't because the school was blocking it. They even went so far as to not have the teachers talk about it for the rest of the day which I thought and still think to this day is BS. This was while I was in 7th grade.

A few years later I was walking to high school with a friend and he said we should have Sept. 11 off. I asked him if we had December 7th (bombing of Pearl Harbor) off and he didn't know. I explained what it was to him and explained that if we did have Sept. 11 off, no one past our generation would know the significance of the date like that.

I know that doesn't seem organized, but just some thoughts I had about the day.
