Its such a shame, he was such a legendary comedian and was one who could always get me to laugh regardless of whether I agreed with him or not.

Oh my God. That's so sad! I'd say rest in peace, but that's not his style.

I was sad when i read this. Though i'm not a big fan myself, I know that my dad loved him and thought he was hilarious. It was pretty shocking.

Technically George Carlin wouldn't be in heaven, he'd be in hell if you believe in that sort of mumbo jumbo. He was an atheist.

I can't believe He died so soon after "It's Bad for Ya!" "I've been told that some part of every wish will be heard but lately I lost sight of the truth in those words."
He's had repeated heart problems in the past so even though it's depressing it isn't a huge surprise.
