A large cat was seen approximately at 2:30 a.m. Friday in a wooded area in the 1500 block of Northwestern Ave., near the railroad tracks, close to the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Northwestern.

Local Zoo? Careless shelters? Local den of em? Any number of possibilites.

Not the zoos because both Brookfield and Lincoln park zoos are 35 miles away from Gurnee

Apparently they are migrating and thriving in another ecosystem. In a few years, we could be overloaded with them.
