Has anybody ever been to the Chicago Auto-Show located in the McCormick Place in Downtown Chicago? It's the largest auto-show in the nation! It's even bigger than Detroits. I'vebeen going there for the past 4 years. This is my 4th show from there and always come out pleased. It's a great show and you don't want to miss it! McCormick place is one of the largest Event Centers in America! Click these for info. http://www.chicagoautoshow.com/about/QuickInfo.asp

I usually drive to schaumburg, grab a train from there to Union Station in downtown then hop on a shuttle to the McCormick Place.

If you like cars you're going love this place!

I went there last year and the one year they had the Chrysler ME-Four Twelve supercar. I'm probably going this year and I can't wait to see the new Pontiac G8 and Dodge Challenger that's supposed to be there.

I really cant stand the auto show, but as long as I get free tickets every year and they give away free stuff there, I go. Also gives me an excuse to spend a day downtown. But for anyone who doesnt know, go to the chevy website, you can fill out a form and then print a certificate for 2 free tickets for the auto show, all you have to do is print them out and take them to any chevy dealer and they give you the tix no questions asked (well exept if you want to look at any cars today) :)

Actually, I saw the Chevy thing but you need to fill it out, take it to those 2 selected dealerships only, and take a test drive in their all new cars such as their new Malibu. So there's a really big catch to it if you don't live close to those dealerships in the Chicago area

It better than it sounds. Except every time I take a pic it always ends up looking at a car model posing next to the car. LOL

I have never test driven a car for the tickets, and just about every dealer in chicago is participating. I just walk in, hand the form to the first guy who talks to me, he gets the manager who gets me my tickets and asks if I need anything else like brochures or if I want to test drive or whatnot, tell them no thanks and that's it.

Weird. ecause last we said no and the guy said it was part of their thing in order to get the free ticket. Maybe they stopped doing it.

it's been 2-3 years since I got the tickets myself, could have changed the other way actually. No harm in a test drive though, if it's a solo test drive test just how well the car can blow through tolls on 355 :)

Looms like it's not on the Chicago Auto Show site either about the free tickets anymore. The special must have ended already. Oh I also made a mitake, the Chicago Auto-Show is the largest in the nation and is a lot bigger than Detroits.
