Well, i think we played fairly solid and equal, they just came out ahead. We blew a lot of opportunities to score, but they made some REALLY bad errors. I think we need to win tonight though!
GOOOOOO CUBS GO!

You know, there comes a point in a sport fans life, especially the Cubs, when you simply have to say the hell with it, and I am getting to that point with the Cubs. Suffering through 84, 89, 98 (which was just about as bad as this play-off series), 03, and now this poor excuse of baseball, what the heck is the point of making the play-offs, only to fall apart, and choke.
Being outscored 11-4 to one of the WORSE hitting teams in the NL is sad. Really sad.
Hopefully I will eat my words, and the Cubs come back, but like that will ever happen. The Blackhawks lose not only their game, but Havlat as well, the Bears suck, and the Bulls I could give a rats-a** about. This is turning out to be a pretty crappy winter sports season for me.
Sorry about the rant, but I am ticked off!!!
If it walks like socialist, quacks like socialist, smells like a socialist, .... it's a socialist. Hope, and change we can believe in.
I think the Brewers would have been on a better series to watch. It's not really fun to watch when its so one sided. Damn NL Central has to be so bad; however, no one will beat those Rockies, except in the World Series, that will be going to the AL team, any 4 of them.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
this is perfect actually, cubs are back to their usual looser status, now under the rule that only one Chicago sports team can be winning at a time, a team that actually matters can get on with winning some games, that being the Bears

Tony, your friends wasted there money for the tickets.
It was in no way a waste of money! The game, although played HORRIBLY from the Cubs side, was quite a great experience. This was my first (and possibly only) time being at a playoff baseball game and i enjoyed the experience. And if all you people with cold shoulders towards the Cubs, if you take a step back, we made it further than most teams did this year, we gotta give the team credit for that.
I'll tell you one thing, i've lost a little respect for Cubs fans last night. i don't think fans should EVER boo their team, even when they are suffering....
Lots of tears, lots of pics (which anyone who is my friend on facebook can see), and lots of memories, i can't complain.
