IRC is like a big chatroom type program. I figured IRC is the best for website chatroom since people can just leave it running in the background and stuff.

He was merely attempting to save you the (possible) trouble of improving this further by pointing out that most people may not do this which can be proven by the fact that chat doesnt work here. If youre gonna get mad at people for trying to help you, then just dont even post it...unless you can grow up and take some constructive criticism.

I have IRC already, it's usually opened in my background. It's no trouble. I figured since some people would have IRC that they might use it instead. So I just wanted to have a small channel opened if anyone was interested. It wasn't EVERY1 JOIN NOW WTF!
It wasn't a topic that needed criticism at all. Did I complain people weren't coming? No, I just wanted this to be out for people if interested. If you weren't going to download, don't tell me. I don't care. I know a lot of people might not download it.

OK, that makes complete sense, and I understand why you felt the way you did and why he felt the way he did, I was just rewording what I thought he was trying to say/do, but either way, this is a neat idea, dont take any of what I said the wrong way, it is cool.
