Pat's Pizza in Grayslake has some good thin-crust pizza (and I live like 2 blocks away from it.)
For thick crust, Olando's in Round Lake Beach. Really good sausage pizza, and it's got some old Riverview Chicago memorabilia inside, along with a working carnival model.

I hate, hate hate hate HATE the deep dish at certain places, like Uno. It is a bunch of crap and I don't know why anyone would eat it. It tastes like dirt on tomato sauce.
I don't really eat at pizza places though, so I can't say I have a favorite.

You know what, I'll say Aurelio's, because I ate there once and the pizza was amazing. The end.
