It's not fake.

He's labled as an illusionist...he never said he was actually doing it.

I am by far very interested in what he does and how he does it.
I recently purchased his leviatation DVD and now I am doing a very easy illusion for under $200. For an effective illusion that is really cheap.

I don't get why people always have to prove him wrong.
He's not trying to make you believe anything, he's just putting on a good show.

If it's soooo fake, I'd like to see you put together an illusion such as his building walk, and pull off a good show. Making it look like you are actually doing it.

So yeah look for me levitating at Six Flags later this year.
I wanna try it for a decent crowd.

I have been watching and following Criss Angel since he made his 1st TV appearence back in 2000 (I think it was 2000). That man is amazing not too mention absolutley gorgeous!!

My favorite trick by him was when he was in the bus and he had a girl sign a playing card and then he threw the deck at the front window from inside of the bus and the card that she signed was stuck to the windshield from the outside.. not the inside. Amazing.

I saw one where he ripped a lady in half and her two halves were walking/crawling around.

To me hes cool and all but his show is almost is like David Blane. I like the one when he was in a hotel hallway and this couple was standing by their room and he said "do u wanna experience Deja Vu?" and he said it again REAL LOUD and they were all the way back to the other end of the hallway!
From being one of the class geeks in 8th grade to one of the most noticable ones in High School. Thats what you call "Steppin Yo Game Up!"

Omfg, yes i litterally freaked out her top half went flying off the bench and crawling away, what scared me was when she started making those noises after she went scurrying off. and then her top half of her body went straight up and walked away.

I used to do magic.

I gave it up because of the secret. There is so much skill involved in magic, but if you loose the secret you loose the audience. (I switched to juggling, same amount of skill, much less secrets, much easier to deal with hecklers).

My favorite magician is not david blaine, or Copperfield, whom I've seen live and was unimpressed with.. I love Jeff McBride. You may not know him by name, but his signature routine involves masks that look very tribal slash oriental. Its amazing. Its not just magic, its skill.

There are alot of really nice really simple not too expensive coin tricks you can purchase at your local magic shop. (maybe I'm just spoiled that I used to live by Chuck's house of magic and took classes there)
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.

David Blaine... Criss Angel's arch enemy!! I don't like David Blaine too much. He just always comes off as being too cocky to me.

Anyone see the episode two weeks ago I think it was... the one where he performed for the monkeys. That was too funny. He did the omage for Sigfield and Roy and made the elephant dissapear on a city street surround by the audience. I still don't understand that one. Outside.. no trap doors.. no place to hide a freaking elephant.

Indeed.

Ok, for those who say its all fake, I'll refer you to rct2wizard360's post. A lot of what he does is Illusion and that stuff really is for putting on a good show. He does do stuff that is real though. I'm sure you've all seen his latest stunt on the news about him getting out of a concrete box suspended 40 feet above times square that he had to get out of. That was real. Or like when he did the wine barrel trick, real. How he does that stuff most of us will never know.

Think of the things Houdini used to do. Most of his stuff was real.

So whether it be illusion or real stunts, he does it all to entertain people and put on a good show for them. Another thing I like about Criss is he is the hardest working magician I've ever seen. He works out even though he hates it, performs for people almost every day, and he is always pushing himself above everyone else and to the fullest extent he can without giving up. So please stop posting how Criss sucks because his stuff is fake because it is just not true. If you like other magicians, thats cool, I don't have a problem with it, but don't say some one is bad or sucks without a good reason.
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/

HOLY CRAP I"M SO GLAD SOMEONE FINALLY STARTED THIS THREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Criss Rocks. Best illustionist in the world and totally kicks David Blaines ass!!!!! What i mean is that his stuff is way better than Blaines. And no, most if his stuff actually is real. You'd be surprised how much stuff he actually is doing. For example, the demonstrations he does are real with the exception of levitation.

Also, my friend and i can do a sh!t load of his tricks. And, we never baught them. We'll spend a whole day taking a trick and figuring it out ourselves. We also each have his new book that reveals 40 mindfreaks (most of them are really gay but some of them are amazing.) We can do Quarter Through a Can, Card in a Baloon, some levitation, Card Stab (deck face up or down), A whole bunch of mentalism, No Hands, and so much more. We're trying to get a stage at gam to do some stuff. (Can anybody get me info on that????????)

Anyway, can't wait for the premeire tonight. Gonna be amazing. I cant wait to see what Dog's gonna be doin on it. (Thats a good show too)

look in my signature for blak oktober stuff

So that was the most amazing episode ever.

Really must of sucked to not get out of the chair completely.
So dedicated.

I wish he would have done what he did in "Burned Alive" and like, re-appeared as his spotter to get him out.

My friend is magician, and he's got some ties. He's going to be helping Criss construct and film an illusion later on this season, and hopefully I'll get to tag along.

^Cool, can i come  ?

About the episode. If i could take a bet, i would bet on how he did the levitation. If you look really closely, you can see his feet are perfectly perpendicular and flat. You can also see he hardly moves at all. I'm almost certain he was just standing on a plexi glass platform that raised and lowered. The light and altitude would be perfect cover for it.
