Except that Dumbledore's death was major important. If you've ever listened to her speak before you know she's big on the BuffyTheVampireSlayer-style isolationist lonely hero crap. First His parents, Then Sirius, Then Dumbledore. And ever since that moment in book 5 when Molly saw the Boggart turning into everyone's body i've been afraid for her. And I imagine a few more order members will die. And probably one of the students we know. I imagine Snape will Die, it really doesn't matter what side he's on, he'll probably die.
And I don't think Harry is a Horcrux. Jo has stated over and over again you can trust things that come out of the mouths of two characters, and if either Dumbledore, or Hermione ever says anything, you can trust that it's right. So therefore "Dumbledore's shrewd ideas tend to be right" So I imagine that the last unknown Horcrux is, as stated, "Something of Gryffindor's or Ravenclaws" Which also leaves, Nagini, The Locket, and the Cup.
But Back to the original Topic...i doubt harry will die.
"There should be a B.O. squad that patrols the city like a "Smell Gestapo". To sniff 'em out, strip 'em down, and wash them with a big, soapy brush..."
"Why is nice bad? What kind of a sick society are we living in when nice is bad?"
she killed sirius and he was the best, then she killed dumbledore...obviously she can't think of anything else good to do besides kill off all the good characters...
not to mention she killed cedrick and originally harry's parents...
Yeah, well, there's a reason why all those characters are dead. And I do believe whether or not Harry is a horcrux, He probably will die...but who knows. Book 7 is a year or so away, we'll find out then.
I'm voting no, just because i think that the two big characters to die (JK Rowling announced that two MAJOR characters will die in the last book) should be Ron and Voldemort and hear's my thinking behind it...Ron has always lived in the background to Harry's great feats and it would be kinda nice for Ron to finally get the chance to step up and take one for Harry for a change (letting him become more than just a Weasley). And why should Voldemort die and not Harry? Well, because if Harry can't kill Voldemort, then Sirius, Dumbledore, Harry's parents, they all died for no reason at all. It just seems pointless to kill harry instead. And to have both Harry and Voldemort die, that would just be a cop out! Not that i thought about it or anything....
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
i think harry should die because it would get rid of the the rationality in my head going "she can't kill the main character" well it's about time she did so the excitment would be back for me.
Not every story has a happy ending, and the HP series is probably just another one of those cases. Undoubtedly Harry will die in some sort of dramatic sacrifice so that others will live. ...but then they'll die too, because he left the iron on or something.
