have any of you played Guitar Freaks and Drummania? It is awesome. In the U.S. you have Guitar Hero, In Japan you have Guitar Freaks. Same Concept less buttons, and harder.
Just wondering if you guys have played it before and you like Guitar Freaks and Drummania.
At six flags there was a Guitar Freaks machine, but I dont know where it is now. Anyone know?
Also what games do you own?

I like Guitar Hero. It's fun to play when you don't know how to play the real instrument.
Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking, isn't thinking of.
I play guitar so I thought guitar hero would be a piece of cake. I was so wrong, its hard if you don't know what you're doing!
I tried to play the Guitar. I suck! Then I tried Guitar Hero at Best Buy. I truely hated it. Then Since I have a Japanese PS2 I decided to import Guitar Freaks And Drummania. Its amazing. I feel like I am playing the drums! Not as much the Guitar though. Plus the japanese game is extremely hard. varies from level 1-99. I can only get to 57.

Guitar Hero is an awesome game. I'm a drummer, so I thought it'd be cool to play guitar too, and I tried playing a real guitar and it's hard. So then I played Guitar Hero, and got pretty good at it...the guitar looks really lame, but it's an awesome and challenging game.
Guitar Hero 2 is coming out just to let you guys know. As For Guitar Freaks And Drummania, only V3 is coming to the arcade.

Guitar Hero is harder than Guitar Freaks.
A lot harder. Drummania...it's only good if its 10th Mix or above. Right On Time Extreme fo shizzo!
I have played Guitar Hero and loved it. I would buy it if it had more songs, like some Alice in Chains.

Guitar hero looks easy, but even to an experienced pro, its difficult at first. I only played it once, but it was so much fun. I'm thinking about buying a PS2 for the sole purpose of playing Guitar Hero.
Guitar Hero is fun at first but it can get boring pretty fast.

Yeah I'm stuck between the PS2 for guitar here or a nintendo DS so I can play the New Super Mario Bros. That game looks awesome.

i'd rather have a PSP (which i do) and play more good games with better graphics...but if u want a DS....
I could care less about graphics, hell, I still play my original nintendo. I'm very video game illiterate. I play games that are good for kids 12 and under. But seriously, being the mario fan that I am, the new game looks amazing.
it is a really good game, possibly better than any PSP games, but Mario DS and Mario Kart DS are the only games that I would actually get if I did have a DS...PSP has a lot more games that aren't REALLY good, but still worth buying, and can do more things other than games (videos, music, photos, internet, etc.)...So overall, I think PSP is better...but depends on the type of games you play, like you said, you play games for 10 year olds, so DS would probably be better for you...
Yeah...that I do. All you have to do is kill the bad guys and jump. Sounds like a good time to me.
actualy Guitar Freaks is harder I played it before. Its Extremely hard. Even know there is only 3 buttons it is one of tha hardest games. I can do all the Drummania Songs. But Not the Guitar. There 10 I can't do. I have never met anyone that can do 5 of them, on Basic.

Oh, Guitar Hero may be worth a buy for the PS2. Play it first. Many people dont like its style. Just make sure you will play it.

I'm a drummer and almost pro. I've never played drumania but want to try it. Since i've been playing for 8 years,i could proly do it, sounds fun!!!

yeah, i've been drumming for 5 years, and i raelly wanna try it too
just because you drum does not make you good at the game. Its a whole differn't experience, although you will be able to drum faster, and catch on maybe a little fast. My friend didn't, and hes a drummer.
