To be scared or not?

I saw on the news that a prophet dude of some sort said that God told him that a tsunami will hit the American coast this year!! omg :shock:

Tell me your thoughts on this. Will it happen? Could it happen? What would happen if one did hit? What coast would it hit?

Ehh..a tsunami is bound to happen..I personally take phychics as people like that as a grain of salt, so I'm not scared.

Ok...here's what I've found to be true.

Television evangelists want your money. Not God. You can't trust all of them, just like you can't trust all internet news sites. Don't let dishonest people give you a bad view of christianity.

And also, I wouldn't know if that "prophet" was telling the truth or not...but I do know the weather's been doing some crazy things...I'd trust a meteorologist over a "TV prophet" any day.

We wouldn't get water but the effects of it. What i mean is that once it's over, the whole country will be affected by it. Not trying to sound mean, but we'll all start doing fundraisers, which are great, and it'll be Katrina times like 1000 all over again. You remember what happened with Katrina, thik about how bad this will be. I'm glad we wont be hit by it, but in a sense we will.

Out of the hundreds of predictions they make, they're bound to get at least one right. If you took a test and got a 5% on it, does that mean you have a firm understanding of the material?
