I dont know if any of you guys follow soccer, but did anyone catch the champions league game yesterday where Barcelona beat Aresanel 2-1. It was an amazing game so i was just wondering if anyone else watched it.

Isnt 2-1 the highest score in soccer history?

I dont see how u can only score that many goals when the goal is f'ing huge yet in hockey teams score 6-8 alot.

2-1 is not the highest score in soccer history. 0-0 was.

Not only is the field f'n huge, the goal itself is the size of a house.

I'm sure most of you people that never played soccer before have NO idea how hard it is. try running for 90 minutes, not wearing anything more than shinguards to protect you, trying to play at a very high level. then you can come make fun of soccer

watch the european games rather than mls or even the world cup this summer to see what the #1 sport in the world is all about. and yes this champions league final was pretty damn amazing, minus lehman getting the red...in my opinion that changed the entire game but it was only a matter of time before barcelona was going to score. overall i'm glad i watched it and next year should be even more insane with Ballack @ chelsea....where he appears for the first time HERE in chicago @ the mls all star game aug. 5

I for one was not making fun of the game. Personally, I find it to be boring if watching it on tv. It ranks up there with watching golf. Playing it is a different story. I have played soccer, hockey, and baseball, and by far, hockey was the most draining, and exhausting game of the three. After a shift, it feels like you had been skating for 5 hrs. Plus, you are in a confined area, and let me tell you, if you have ever been just nailed into the boards like I have, there is no amount of padding that will spare you the pain.
