Well, stay tuned..I'll post more, but possibility of 1-3'' wednesday night from one system, and then the thursday system which has the possibility to drop .75'' of water on us (either all Ice, Snow, or Rain), so possibility of a major thunderstorm/ice/winter storm (7-10'') is possible.

I have always dreamed of this. Unfortunatley, since my school district sucks, I'll probably have to go to school. But nothing like your good old thunder ice snowstorm. Keep us posted Aero.
Tonight, The air is very dry and it will be mostly clear so that will allow for a lot of radiational cooling, temps will be in the low 30's / upper 20's.
Tommrow, we will warm up, but high clouds moving in will help to moderate the temperature a bit. We might be able to see a 50, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Rain will begin in the South West regions.
Tommrow Night, This is where the fun begins. 3-5 inches of snow before morning. This isn't the main storm, but activity along the warm front.
Thursday, The rain/snow line is still heavily disputed. as different models have slightly different tracks. AVN model brings the center of the Low to Kankakee, while the NAM keeps it further south near springfield. None the less, it looks like the NW suburbs will be getting the brunt of the snow with areas closer to chicago getting less.
It's still too early to put out snow predictions, but it looks like areas NW of chicago might be getting 7'' out of this.
Friday, Turning cold, lows in the -00's and highs in the mid 10's.
Not much in the means of snow. You prob have a better chance of snow on Wednesday night. Again, you chances thursday are disputed in the variability of the track of the storm.
All indications right now show that the rain/ice/mix line being from I-80 South, areas O'hare and north will get 6-10 inches of snow. The areas in between will get 3-6 inches.
In other Words:
O'hare and areas to the North 6-10 Inches
Naperville, Oak Park, Much of the City: 3-6 inches
South of Milwaukee (From the City limits to About Greendale)
Expect 2-4 inches of Snow tomorrow night, and then the fun really happens on Thursday Day and Thursday Night... A Wintery Mix of Snow/Sleet/Rain/Thunder and Wind! WOO.
then temps crash by the weekend with single digit lows Friday-Saturday Nights.
