I was watching tv and I saw the commercial for the motorola SLVR L7, and it says it is 200 dollars. I went on cingular's website and found that it said the 200 dollar price was applicable to those getting a 2yr contract. I was wondering how much the price of this phone is for someone who already has a contract with cingular.

You would have to renew your contract. I suggest going to the nearest cingular store(in a mall kisok or in a strip mall) they might be able to help you more.

Depending on how long you've had your contract will really depend of how much the phone will coast you.


In order to get the SLVR at the 199.99 price, you must be at least 21 months into your current contract.

In order to get the phone at $249.99 you have to be at least 1 year into your contract and will have to sign a 2 year contract. You will also have to pay $50 more for the phone because your getting whats called an exception upgrade.


The phone outright according to my price sheet is $319.99 and thats outright with no contract.

Thanks, I dont think I'm going to get it, its nice but I dont want to go through all the difficulties. Once my contract is up then I'm going to switch to Tmobile and get the sidekick2
