ATTENTION!: The Fantasy Leauge has been formed please review the thread at the bottom of the page for everything surrounding this leauge. As is the case in years past, I will be hosting a fantasy baseball team this year on Yahoo.com. I am looking for people who would like to sign up for the Leauge this year. Excellent, By Mid- Feb ill have the leauge all filled and a Draft Date set up.
Draft will most likely be held on a Weeknight @ 9pm Information will be provided when it becomes available. This thread will also be the offical Fantasy Baseball Leauge Thread as well. In which ill update scores etc etc.

It wont be held until Mid- March at least.... That way we get an idea of injuries out coming out of Spring Trainning.
I will accomidate most peoples schedules 
and if we cannot be at the draft, will there be an automatic drafting based on who we want as rankings set before the draft.

Yes, people who are unable to participate in the draft will have an automatic draft based on the pre-ranked players and there rank assigned to players that where not taken.
Rest assured if your unable to attend a draft, that you will have some of your players drafted when you pre-rank.
Ok, I will join, I just needed to know cause I am not sure if I will be able to make the draft, but count me in.

The Following is the Offical Fantasy information that will be used in our 2006 Season.
Leauge Name: Fantasy Baseball 2006 Leauge ID# 57687 Leauge Password: 1234 Draft Date: 3/24/06 @ 9:30pm Max # of Teams 10 Scoring: Head 2 Head Trade Reviewed: By Commish The following are the Max # of positional players allowed on each team. 1B: 1 2B: 1 3B: 1 SS: 1 OF: 3 Utility: 3 The Following is the Max # of Pitchers allowed on each team. SP:3 RP:3 P:3 There will be 1 Disabled List Spot and 5 Bench spots. The Following Stats will be used in the scoring of each teams' batters: (In order to win the catagory, you MUST have a higher value then your opponent.) Runs Hits Singles Doubles Triples Home Runs Stolen Bases Walks Fielding Percentage Batting Average On Base Percentage Slugging Percentage The following stats will be used in the scoring of each teams' pitching staff. (In order to win the catagory, you MUST have a higher value then your opponent.) Wins Complete Games Shutouts Saves Strike Outs Earned Run Ave. Walks/Hits per innings pitched Strike Outs per 9innings Walks per 9 innings How this works: Basically, you have a team of your choice, scoring is based on the actually performance of the player in the real life game. For example: If Derrick Lee has a 4 for 5 Game ( Hits 2 doubles, 1 Home Run and a Single) and drives in 4 Runs,and scores twice. Your score for Derrick Lee will be 2+1+1+1+4+2 = 11. (Note this is an example there are other possibilities that can and will happen with any player) For Pitching: If Jon Garland pitches a Complete Game, 6 strike outs, and had a 2.00 era. Your score for that specific game will be. 1+6+2 = 9 (Note this is an example there are other possibilities that can and will happen with any player) Winning: Each week the team with the highest score out of all the possible stats will win that match up against the other team. Players that are on the bench or DL will not receive any stats. Players are eligible to be added to the bench or into the line-up up until the start of the specific game. (For example, if your team has Paul Konerko and his game against the Yankees starts at 7:05pm Central you have until 7:04:59 to add him to your line up.) Please remember that the official scoring for the leauge is in Pacific Time. (2 Hours behind Central) I will be sending out invites to the leauge via email. Please accept the invite asap.
