Video Cards

I just got a ATI Radeon 700 video card for my computer, (so I could play RCT3) and I installed it but when ever I plug the cable into it instead of my old video card, all i get is a black screen with a little white line in the top left corner. Has this happened to anyone else? or does anyone no how to fix it? because most of the people on this forum Know A TON more about computers then me. Thanks.

So its an X700? Did you install the drivers? You took out the old one? Are you sure it's in correctly? Did you connect power to the card?

You can find help on the internet for free, don't call geek squad.

http://www.ati.com go to drivers and download the ATI Radeon Catalyst drivers.

Thanks, I think I forgot to take out the old one so I'll do it tomorrow.
