Beer, it's all about the beer.

A Off-Topic forum to discuss things that aren't related to the Amusement Park Industry.

Forget that lame soda topic you have been reading.

Let's discuss barley, yeast, and hops.

My favorite low cost beer is MGD.

Favorite more expensive beer is Samuel Adams.

But I prefer the micro-breweries. Nothing like fresh made beer right there where you drink it.

Under 21 need not reply unless you have been downing beers before that age like I have.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Well, I've had quite a few beers (luckly my floormates enjoyed beer and we would each get a unique 6 pack every weekend and share em). I must say that I think Killians is one of my favorite beers. I've also enjoyed Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Hacker Pschore (good weise beer), and St. Pauli Girl.

My favorite cheep beer would probably be (well if St. Pauli Girl counts-it's cheep as dirt), it would be Miller Genuine Draft. Miller Lite is good as well.

Some of the other distinguished tasts I've tried:
Guiness- It was good, but not my kind of taste, a bit bitter.
Some Sort of Goose Island (a lot of hops)-Woah, I gagged on this one. No Good
Blue Moon-Another Good Weise
Carona-Mexico at it's finest. Even better with a lime. Too bad people beer bong these. Such a waste of taste.
Becks (lite and dark)-Good german brew.
Sam Adams-Just kinda fit in with the other beers.

I've also tried many cheeper economy brews such as Keystone lite, Icehouse (pearsonal fav as far a crap goes), Bush lite, Bud Lite.

I would say that the two best looking beers were Killians (beautiful deep amber/redish look with just the right amount of head) and Guiness (deep black color with bone white head, got people's attention).

Too bad half my family has Celiac Sprew and can only eat gluten-free things which doesn't include flour or yeast. My uncle found this out in the past year and has to drink gluten-free beer or stick to wine. Trust me, he's not a wine guy. If anyone has had gluten-free beer, it tastes nothing like the real thing, although I've never actually tried either.

I've been going on 10-15 a night for the past 6 nights in a row. Just one of those side effects of college

I like Bud Light for normal everyday drinking
Becks - great German Beer I got a sixer of it a couple times
Rolling Rock - Another good brew, but I am poor :(
Corona - great beer, of course

And the bottom of the barrel college beers....

Natural Light, Keystone, Milwaukee's Best. All taste crappy but they get the job done, that's for sure.

Nothing better than a couple Silver Bullets on a Friday night.....

Although Coors is good, give me Corona anyday. Can't wait until I go to Mexico in 2 years because

A) I'll be 18, and Aa) being 18 means bar-hopping tour :)

I can drink tequilla, whiskey, rum, vodka no problem but for some reason I hate beer! The ONLY beer that I can drink is Corona w/ a lime. Maybe because the lime makes it less bitter?? That's why I am very happy that the tiki bar serves Coronas!! Oh yeah and shots I love... you know the girley ones. Lemon drop, Apple Pie and then some that have names that I can't say on message board with people under the age of 18 on  Those bad ones are the ones that I was doing all night on Friday. We have the funniest pictures of me and my friends Katrina and Kim doing shots with no hands (drinkers know what I am talking about) and every picture we just look drunker and drunker.

usually its Heineken, but I'll also drink Rolling Rock. Corona is also good, but only with lime. I'd have to agree with yeti, though, sailing with the Captain is what got me started. Jack makes a good whiskey too.

No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

^Party?

I guess since this got started on hard liquor, I like Vodka above all with Rum (white) close behind. I hate Whisky with a passion. I perfer to do just shots of vodka or rum, but I have done a large sum of rum through a beer bong once. I've had tequila once. I did a shot of Gin  . Kalua is really good as well. But none of those compair to a good beer. Although we've been making more and more complex drinks (Mojhito was a good one).

Since this is the alcohol based topic I though I would ask...

Has anyone had any of the flavored Malibu Rum drinks? They now have coconut and tropical fruit and I was wondering because I looooove rum.

Don't know about the Malibu ones, but I used to make vanilla coke when I was a bartender. Vanilla Bacardi & Coke.
