Back from Wisconsin

Went to centeral Wisconsin and just got back. I didn't know if this belonged in Trip Reports or in Off topic.

We left at around noon and grabbed some food. I think it was Denny's. then drove up to a BP in Wisconsin and stopped for gas. There was a Subway resturaunt in the gas station and it made the place smell like dog crap (I HATE Subway!) Grapped a Pepsi and drove some more. We arrived at Rothschild and stayed at the Lodge at Cedar Creek. It's a hotel and waterpark. The water park is NOTHING compared to Hurricane Harbor though. So we ate at the hotel's resturaunt and headed to the park.

There's 3 slides, a big water bucket that tips, a thing like a mini Skull Island with 3 slides, a lazy river and a few play areas. Me & my family played around there and left at closing time (10 pm).

The next morning we got up at about 11 because of the freakin' housekeeping, we were still pretty worn out from yesterday. We went back to the waterpark for a couple of hours and left at around 2:30 to go to my uncle to see family. After eating and drinking at least 1/2 gallon of soda (1 MUG Root Beer, 2 Diet Dr Peppers and a 20oz Coke) we headed to the hotel and relaxed before MORE waterpark. We left because of a bunch of idiots forming a train of 10-30 people on the lazy river and running into everyone else, with no regard to anyone else in the river. Even the lifegaurd wouldn't help. People really piss me off.
We went to Perkins and FINALLY ate dinner at around 11pm (they have great cheese sticks) and went to bed at about midnight.

We left at around noon and headed back to Grayslake and arrived home about 4pm. So other than a bad smelling gas station, idiots on the lazy river and my dad snoring frickin' LOUD' it was an OK trip.
Somewhere in Florida a village is missing its idiot. He can be found in Washington D.C.

Meh, we had to pass through the Dells on the way home from our place up in Adams co. Ended up convincing my Dad to stop for a quick ride on Avalanche so I guess it was worth the horrendous traffic of this weekend. It's one of the last good weekends to get up there, so its freaking packed, every restaraunt I could find (even McDonalds!) had a line coming out it's front door since it was only like 10 AM.

Perkins was the only one where we had to wait. It was only 5 minutes. Traffic wasn't too bad either. We hit some traffic while passing some roadside bingo place.
