Sometimes, I just get so depressed about some of the stupidiest things (Other times, they are more important things.). Going to SFGAm is great, but it doesn't really help. Does anyone else feel this way? Its seems to be a constant thing. I'm sad, and then I'm happy. That's life I guess (like a rollercoaster).
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
You probably have depression. Here's what to do:
1. Go to a party
2. Get Wasted
3. This is a wild step, do as you please
4. Wake up in a cop car at 4Am
5. Drink Again
6. Get Wasted until you can't see straight
7. Puke somewhere (best choice a toilet)
8. Another wild step
9. Drink from dusk til dawn
10. Wake up in a hospital and ask for morphing or viocadin
You're not depressed
And I quote Homer Simpson in "To alcohol- the cause of, and solution to- all of life's problem's"
Depression is something that needs to be taken seriously.
Drinking to solve depression? I think not. Drinking would only
cause things to worsen.
The best thing about depression is to seak help through a
counselor. Lots of times, people can be depressed, never know
why, until they talk to someone about their issues and problems.
Drinking is never the solution. Go to someone that you trust and
talk with them about what is going on in your mind and body. Soon
you willl start to feel better and pull out of depression. Listen to me,
cause I was once there!
"The world of politics is filled with uncivilized, snarling, rapacious beasts that, like untrained mutts, raise their legs and urinate on everything we hold dear," - Michael Savage

BTW, sorry about my post. Please don't take advice from it. You'll probably just end up more depressed and become nauscious and probably have migranes.
Those are pretty dark bands. Everybody gets depressed, especially when you're a teenager (I assume you are). So, best way to cope with it is to spend some time alone then go out with your friends. Having good times with friends can take your mind off things.
i'd say see a counselor. If that doesn't help, just try to look at the bright things in life. It's hard, I know, I've been in a deep depression for awhile now. Life will get better. It's just hard to deal with teenage things.
This might sound a little weird, but the reason I feel depressed is because I feel someone elses pain. The problem is really difficult though. I can't really can't comfort this person because of something.
I can't tell you guys/girls what the real problem is because if I do I might hurt this person more, and trust me I never want to hurt this person at all. So, its a mess. It has gotten much better though, so I thank all of you.
There's too much pain in this world. I wish all of us (including me) could be just a little nicer to each other. We are all really the same with minor differences.

Look at it this way:
If there wasn't any pain there wouldn't be pleasure. The whole point of life is to experience not only the ups, but the downs as well. On a roller coaster the down is the fun part even!
Something I've noticed after having gone through tons of middle school drama, and some lifetime worthy drama with my family is that regardless of how bad it gets, it gets better in the end.
The worse things get now, the better things will be later.
Unfortunately there is no changing the world. Economics teaches us that no matter how good things could be if we work together, we're always going to have doubt and someone is going to screw someone over. (nash equilibrium, you will learn about it no doubt, if you've seen a beautiful mind, its the concept of nobody go for the blonde)
Another great proverb, do unto others as you have them do unto you. Even if it doesn't work (aka, you are polite to someone but they are rude back) you are still the better person.
Just know that there are tons of people that are good, there are tons of people that are just as depressed as you, there are tons of folks that are more depressed than you are, you are never alone in your feelings. You saying there is too much pain means that somewhere out there some people are having too much fun.
