Summer's here Finallly! Is anyone going to do anything this summer or have any goals to do or jobs you want? As for me, sitting inside and staying up til 2-3Am watching TV is fine with me.

I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

I've got a job at K-mart (better than it sounds) that gives me about 4 days a week of work. I'm also performing in the performance of MASH at my school. I'm also working on getting un-fat by running.

Sireze, that is messed up. I'll have been out of school, back in school, and out again before you even get out for the summer. well technically the spring semester goes until the 24th, I think, but I don't have a traditional class.

Man I can't wait my summer vacation starts on .... Oh wait I'm an overgrown kid posing as a responsible adult/parent in the real world. This means I get to spend my summer vacation the way I spend all year. I get to go to that exotic travel spot ..... the cubicle.

My little oasis in the office desert comes complete with island decorations (Tiki head bottle opener, coconut cup, straw hat etc), photos of my daughter at SFSTL to remind me to take some vacation every now and then, and my diploma on the wall). Its not much, but its home 40 hours a week 50 weeks a year with two weeks time to use for "vacation" instead of 2-3 months.

Damn kids, enjoy it while you can because soon you too will be joining the ranks of Office and cubicle dwellers.

Ah ha! ihauntu2 we must sound like the most bitter people here on the board  I feel the cubicle pain! Mine is so drab and boring. I'm one of the lucky ones here in this office... I got a window seat... ha ha ha ah. I have a few pictures of my and my fiance and nephew at SFGAM and SFSTL and TONS of my babies. My doggie and kitty. I've been doing 5- 10 days for about 7 months straight but I can't complain too much. Great paychecks!

Somehow I knew that you would be right there with me Punkbunny. 8)

I'm not trying to be bitter as much as I just really enjoy reminding those in school that eventually the party will end. Kind of a friendly public service announcement about seizing the fun and opportunity while its there.

I hated high school but I realize now that most of my best memories are from high school. Also 18-21 was awesome! Once I turned 21 drinking just wasn't as fun 8)

I would, but I've got too many projects going on. The good news is that I get to escape the cube to check jobsites in the field a few times this week :D
