Awhile ago I was at Islands of Adventure park, and they had a shirt of all Marvel type of heroes and what not. And someone said to me, Do you want that shirt, and I said to them no I'm not a huge Marvel fan compared to DC. So, do you like DC better or do you like Marvel better? I think even moreso now, with Marvel they keep on making movies based on their properties which I think is helping people like Marvel more, but I still like DC better.
Here's MY reasons why I like DC better.
A bunch of the heroes for Marvel in my opinion are cool looking heroes like Iron Man, but it's like the evil villians are terrorists. To me, that's very kind of boring. I was watching the second movie of Iron Man, and he's just fighting general silver robots anything in which the terrorist guy is in control of. The other two are Incredible Hulk and the military, and Captain America. That to me is so generic compared to for Batman you have Joker, Mr. Freeze, for Superman you have Mystickkak, Bizarro, Brainiac and so on.
For Thor in the cartoon I seen, the guy is just dumb as a rock.
I personally think Spider-Man is a wimpy character. I don't think the Flash, Hawkgirl, Black Canary, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Batman, or Superman are though. I still think he's an okay character, but as I said.
To me, the good redeeming group of Marvel is the X-Men. To me, they are all so action packed type of people with different types of villians, and what not.
Fantasic Four is okay, but Richard Reed guy is such a dork it's not even funny.
So, I think DC is better. Probably Green Lantern though is my least favorite for DC. And DC would do so much better for themselves if they actually had other movies other than just Superman, and Batman. (Well, finally they bring out a Wonder Woman, and a Green Lantern movie) And for Superman, why in the world aren't they having the other villians other than just Lex Luthor all the time? And Catwoman was such a bad idea for a DC movie. Seriously, you base it on a villain movie? Who cares about that?
