I used to have the Chicago accent and now dont and purposely do everything possible not to speak that way after realizing how annoying and awful it is. Was funny when I moved to California everyone made fun of me for my accent and I didnt think I had one, now when I speak to someone from IL/WI I can quickley pick up on it.
That poll is really bad though, theres not even an option for southern people Y'ALL

It actually does but it will only be determined by a few of the questions. I think there is Boston, East Coast, South East, Southern, Neutral, Midwest, Midland, Northern, Western, North Central, and Canadian.
People from even Chicago can pick out my accent. Whenever I say a work like "bag, flag, dragon, ect" they always go "what? Say that word again"....and then laugh about it. Or with words like "about" or ones that have the "oo" sound.
