Played the xbpox 360, and while it is amazing, I dont see all the hype around it.

The hype is because serious gamers are crazy people. I mean my fiance and brother stayed outside in 10 degree weather from 9pm-6am for a game system... now that is crazy. The Xbox 360 even I am impressed with. The graphics are great!

^ The key was finding a 24 hour store you could camp out inside, like Wallmart.

^ and also a store that did not lie about the # that they recieved in their shipments like Best Buy

It was dropped off at 12:34pm today... ordered at 8:05am yesterday. Not bad at all!!

Circuit City has made a new customer throughout this whole "ordeal" as I call it. Every time we would stop in to see if they had it or called to ask they were always very nice and helpful. Best Buy was the complete opposite. It was like I was bothering them... it's your job to be asked questions so deal with it. Their customer service for bestbuy.com was a joke but corporate already knows how I feel about that. I'm just glad it's over.

Now bring on PS3......

I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

Yep... I know James...classic video game junkie.... =) One of my exes (not Alan) was like that too...when not at work, playing video games 24/7...I didn't mind, except for every single game was wrestling...don't get me wrong, I like the games, but there are also others I can get into!

You gotta love a guy like that...then again, maybe I'm a dork too... "video game dork" I'm all into computer PC gaming...technology....of course, working in the field I'm in doesn't help :D  Tell James I said have fun with it.

I finally got mine yesterday, the Best Buy in Bloomington/Normal got a shipment in wednesday night, and I got there at 7:56 thursday morning for an 8 oclock opening and was 4th in line. They had 26 total.

Perfect Dark Zero is a pretty tits game, but my Call of Duty 2 coming from ebay should be even better.

We got ours via FedEx at about 12:00pm and love it. We have Call of Duty 2 and it looked pretty good although my fiance says that it is "boring as online play". The graphics on both King Kong and Project Gotham Racing are great! There are also a few arcade type games that are already downloaded onto the hard drive and I was playing Hextic (I think that was what it was called) from 7pm-12:30am. I get a little obsessed with those puzzle type games.
