The Bears signed today former Eagle's QB Jeff Blake. The 34 year old vet of 13 NFL seasons will be competing with Kurt Kittner for the third string spot. While most who have seen him play believe him to be the best of the Bears QB's, Orton and Hutchinson are more familiar with the system and benefit from going to camp and spending the off-season with the Bears.

The Eagles defense will be #1 in the league this year. Write that down. What holes do they have? Best secondary in the league, Pro Bowl Middle Linebacker, great D-line.

Did I actually say that? :(

The Bears will make the playoffs. They would have to seriously screw things up to not make it. I'm proud of my boys, and I'm definitely no bandwagoner. I have been religously watching and cheering for the Bears since I was a four year old.

I know the Bears aren't awesome, but when you make the playoffs, you have a chance!

Another stellar win! Pushing their way further up the NFC North ladder. I am so happy for the Bears, thats four (4) in a row...

Very solid running game, passing game has room for improvement but still very very good.

Easy game next week Bears, keep it up! Definetly playoff bound. :) :)

Is Kyle orton in line for rookie of the year. Mabye he should be our quarterback since Rex always breaks something of himself. You know like the next year.

The Bears released FB Marc Edwards after they determined that FB Jason McKie was healthy enough to play. I really liked Marc Edwards. That would be like cutting Kyle Orton when Rex Grossman is healthy enough to play.

Bears win 17-9! 6-3 facing Carolina (7-2) next. If the Bears want to win they'll have to,

1. Create Turnovers and eliminate their own Turnovers
2. The Special Teams have to play consistently
3. Defense MUST contain passing game
4. 150 Yards running and 150 yards passing
5. Some Big Plays.

They wont beat Carolina. Carolina might be the best team in the Conference.

No, New York Giants or the Redskins are the Best NFC teams even if their record shows otherwise in my opinion. Carolina and the Bears are up there. Oh, and didn't you GUARANTEE the Eagles would have the #1 defense in the NFL? Right now that's the Bears, with Tampa, Baltimore, and Indy close behind.

Did I guarantee that? I dont think I did. Giants and Redskins are the best two NFC teams? Giants just lost to the Vikings in NY, Washington just lost to Tampa with Simms @ QB.

EaglesFan...no offense but I have no clue why you need to post in this topic at all  .

Bears are definitely contenders for the NFC Championship. I won't go too crazy though, the Super Bowl is a whole 'nother story.
