Another great reason to quit Kmart:

Last night we were helping an old man with a cane out the store with his display model of a table. Well it doesn't fit in his station wagon, but me adn my coworker know that we can get it in if we take off the legs. Well we bring it in and my manager tells me. "Nick, don't take that apart for that man, it's against the rules. Make him do it himself."

This man is like 80 and can barely walk. WTF

So we brought it inside and took it apart for the man anyways. If Kmart wants to fire somebody for showing common courtesy they can go ahaead and fire me. It's just another reason why that company is going down the drain, they are more worried that I'm goign to drop a piece of their table that I put together in the first place and break so they can't sell the piece anymore than showing some common courtesy to an old man.

Wow Kmart blows.

Ahh the rain drop, the perfect aerodynamic shape. It is actually formed by the air around it.

You also cannot tie anything to the roof of their car either or give them twine.

^You aren't supposted to, but I along with many coworkers do, again..it's just common courtesy to try and help a customer with anything.

Basic story: I'm sick of covering up Kmart's shitty business practices (how about getting stuff in thats on ad) with excuses I have to make up because I know that there is absolutly no reason for this stuff not to be in the store. This happens EVERY week, and always the stuff thats the best deal just somehow never comes in.

Can't wait till somebody sues for false advertising.

^Then you know what you do, you do it anyways, you are definitely in the right in those cases! I used to have the same problem, until last summer when this little kid came in crying because his bike broke and he didn't know how to fix it, my manager told me that i couldn't help him so I gave the manager the one finger salute, walked on out and fixed the kid's bike. Never let the man get you down! :D Oh, and I'm still working at the same place so it paid off anyways.

So don't let those things bother you, just stick it out until you get a better job and keep doing the right thing, it will always pay off.
