umm...no. rct2wizard sounds like a Sony fanboy. one of the ideas behind a case is to keep the end user out of the componants. if you can get in, you can change stuff and figure out how to do a lot of stuff the manufacturer doesn't know you to know how to do.

A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

Don't be the one calling me a fanboy. I'd buy it if it was in a reasonable price range. I'm purchasing Revolution to, fanboy huh?
I've came to a decision about 20 minutes ago that I could probably purchase a 360 at Kmart the morning it comes out then sell it on ebay for more than I bought it for. Sound like a good plan to anyone else?

Sounds like a plan, but be ready for a fight. Word in retail is that Microsoft is intentionally manipulating supply to cause more of an uproar. Most stores haven't recieved nearly the amount of units they expected to have by now.
In the big box market, if I were you, I would try a Wal-mart. Not that I'm implying that their impending Ad campaign has allowed them to recieve the highest completion of orders...No Microsoft would never do that
Heads up though..24 hour Wal-marts are expecting lines to start around 10am on the 21st.

so a PS3 with MGS4 is a reasonable price at (probably) over $400? I'm not saying the 360 is at a reasonable price, just that you seemed to be bashing it and favoring the PS3 for pretty much no reason.

Chances are you wont get one..most people have reserved them. When PS2 came out, they all sold out and i got one a week later from toys R us. Otherwise, buy one on eBay now from the UK and youll most likely be able to sell it for a good price since it will probably sell out in the US.
I'm waiting for PS3...Screw 360

First off, Kmart doesn't take preorders, and nobody shops there AT ALL for electronics whatsoever. I havn't even really been asked about it yet.
I talked to the head of electronics today and hes expecting to get 5 of them in by Tuesday (we had it advertised, too). We won't be open at midnight, just 8AM on Tuesday like any normal day.
Second off, I work there...I can get in before the store opens, then buy it right at 8AM.
Assuming the store gets any, I believe my plan is flawless.

the Meijer that I work at just got something for the 360 yesterday. I went in to talk to my boss and get groceries and it was just sitting behind the registers near the entrance. anyone could have rolled it right out the front door and stolen it. it was probably a display unit, but still. all we've had before this is a sign, lol.

I live in a town of about 10,000, and the Wal-mart is getting 16 Xbox 360s to sell. I think I'm gonna get there at about 6:15-6:30 and see if I'll be able to get one when it opens at 7. I'd say I have a 50/50 chance of gettting one.

It costs around $450 for the Core bundle on eBay. I wanted to get a Premium bundle for Gamestop of EBgames, but they have to be bundled with games I don't want.
I went to Target tonight and there are people already standing outside to get the system (Target doesn't open its doors until 8am and it is now 9:50pm).
My friend called K-Mart and they told him that they were doing a raffle and whoever's name is called gets a chance to purchase an XBOX 360.
I think that this is really crazy. Good luck to anyone who purchase one.
I called Wal-mart last night, and they said they had 8 premiums and 8 cores, so I got there this morning at 5:30, I was #14 in line, so I thought I'd get a core then sell it, earn a little money, then buy a premium later. The guy walked out at 7 A.M, and told us that they had 10 cores and 0 premiums, so i pretty muched got f'ed in the a.
