In my opinion, a new Offensive Coord. really wouldn't be able to change
the Bears and make them better. The Bears need more than just new
coaching to make them better. The Head Office, needs to spend some
money and get new players. All I have seen them do is, spend more
money on Coaches, but they don't spend the money to get better players.
This off season will provide the Bears excelent opportunities to pick
up some great Free Agents, to improve the team, but it's less likely that
they will do that. They will stay with who they have, and they will only
finish 6-10 next season.
Sorry, Bears fans. If they don't pick up some good FA this off season,
don't expect the Bears to make it, even into the Wildcard next season.
Coaching can't always solve problems, and the Bears have proved that.

Kittner is the 3rd string QB. He may end up starter by the end of the year if the Bears stay true to form, therefore they need some experience at 3rd string.
Ron Turner is the new Offensive Coordinator.

Owens is in camp! And im leavin for Philly today!
Not to be a jerk, but this topic is about Da' Bears. Anyway, as a Purdue fan I would like to see Kyle Orton get some playtime. The receivers should do well with Mushin Muhammad, and NO Terrell.
Donovan McNabb is the most overrated QB. If it wasn't for his boyfriend TO, he'd probably have the lowest QB rating of starting QB's. I know Eagle's fans love him, but they need to stop thinking he's Daunte Culpepper or Steve McNair or any other QB worth a damn.
Out for season, actually. I don't see him coming back. Bears lose 17-13 in the game. Hutchinson, Orton, and Kittner were all okay, so it's not like last season's Grossman injury.
I said this offseason the Bears were stupid for not signing Kurt Warner when they had a chance....they were so high on Grossman when they had no reason too. The only thing he has done so far is get injuried, and it didn't surprise me when he went down tonight. He's injury prone and obviously can't handle the hits the NFL gives.
They should have given up on him last year or at least made him the #2 guy this year. Now they are screwed again....and if they make him the #1 QB again next year....then $#@% the bears management.

I used to be a fan of the Eagles, like pre-McNabb Eagles, and I liked them up until last year, but SO MANY PEOPLE have just jumped on the bandwagon that I guess it takes the fun out of rooting for an out-of-state team. Now I'm back to the Bears.
Plus, Terrell Owens is an idiot.

The reason so many people jumped on is cause of TO. I wonder where they will go once he is gone...
The pre- Mcnabb Eagles, the ones with the superb D that is, were great. But emphasis on McNabb has lead to Defensive mishaps that signings of players such as Jeavon Kearse can't handle.
The Bears signed today former Eagle's QB Jeff Blake. The 34 year old vet of 13 NFL seasons will be competing with Kurt Kittner for the third string spot. While most who have seen him play believe him to be the best of the Bears QB's, Orton and Hutchinson are more familiar with the system and benefit from going to camp and spending the off-season with the Bears.

The Eagles defense will be #1 in the league this year. Write that down. What holes do they have? Best secondary in the league, Pro Bowl Middle Linebacker, great D-line.
Wow I almost needed a paper bag during the game today. 5 interceptions!! (yes, I know Harrington played like crap). The Bears are on top of NFC North, write the date down.
Ok, Football as I know it is over. The Packers were literally SPANKED by the Lions last week (I hate when the Lions play the Packers, it turns my family into all out Civil War, Grandma and 2 brothers are Lions fans, I am a dyed in the wool Packer Fan along with my father) but the Lions were just SPANKED by the Bears today , who, no offense is more often in last place than either the Lions or the Packers. It makes me wonder what we may be in store for this year.
On a funny side note on how SERIOUSLY my family takes football, my Dad once refused to talk to my youngest brother Erik, then 5 yrs old, when for a day he wanted to be a Bears fan because he liked the colors. He has since crossed over to the right side of the fence in my family to join the ranks of the Packer fans......even when they stink!
