If the Cubs do not win the World Series, and the Sox do (did), then to hell with Chicago. The city doesn't deserve it. That gets one big , and a
If I bled Cubbie blue, I would not be blasting a team that has just steam rolled through the playoffs. I would be pissed, and angry at the Tribune Co for not giving a rats behind about the team, and just concerning themselves with filling the seats at Wrigley. I would be pissed at Hendry for re-signing the entire coaching staff. I would be pissed at Dusty Baker for letting his team act like a group of kids during the 2004-2005 season, and playing some of the worst fundemantal baseball I have ever seen.
Galven, be patient, the Cubs will do it. I respect you for giving the Sox the credit they deserve. For the Cub fans who are having to suffer through one of the darkest days in Chicago history.....Get over it. Jealousy is never a good thing. While the city of Chicago celebrates something that it has not seen in 88 F'N YEARS, you can sit at home and watch the Bartman game over, and over, thinking about just how close you came to the World Series, and cry in your milk. Then take a look at both managers, on how they manage. Take a look at both GM's, and owners. Its time to point your anger in a different direction.
A dialogue that happened at school today, between me and a girl who thought she was a sox fan.
Me: Your sox suck.
Her: Oh yea, well look who's never been to a world series.
Me: Actually, we went in 1945, and won it in 1908.
Her: HAHA that's so long ago.
Me: Yea, well at least we've never thrown one.
Her: What does that mean?
Stupid posers.
Also, I didn't get banned because (Mode Note: Watch your Language) isn't a bad word.

I was at the United Center for that game, the place erupted after the Sox won, I was going crazy. Best crowds I have ever seen, all die hard Sox fans, guess I was where I belong. I picked up a World Series program, a World Series playoffs hat, I ordered my World Series Champions hat. That game in the ninth inning was the most nervous I have ever been.
To you Cubs fans, our winless World Series streak for 88 years is over, you are all just jealous cause you cannot win and will never win the World Series. The world will end before the Cubs win it all.
To all the REAL Sox fans, let's celebrate this championship till the '06 season starts, and then cheer them on their way to a repeat!!
By the way, I really do not homo-sox-uals, stupid bandwagon jumpers, stick with a team and cheer for them. The only exception are the fans that were just cheering them on, not as Sox fans, but just to see Chicago win the World Series, you all ROCK!
That was the best 4 games of the World Series I have ever seen, closest, best fought games. Sox are the Champions, and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
Oh, for those that actually ever went to Sox games during this season, that opening sequence was amazing, to Requiem for a Dream, just amazing! The hidden ball was in the middle hat , the grey white sox bobble head won the race .
Go Go White Sox, Chicago is proud of you!

I've got two words you should all learn very soon as you will be using them a lot next year:
Felix Pie.
In response to Jon's post, yeah it was a great catch, but if you are an Astros fan sitting in the front row of the bleachers, you'd better be getting off your ass and reaching for that ball. They all backed away from the ball. That, and the fact that the fans were complaining about FREEZING 55 degree weather, makes me think that Astros fans are just soft.
Great play, but it shouldn't of happened.

Another beef I have with Ozzie Guillen: not only does he kiss men, but he also is not very loyal to his team.
Do you all remember back when the Sox were in danger of not making the playoffs? Ozzie came out to say "I don't think I'm going to come back to coach next year." But now that they won, he's all about coming back. That, to me, is a sign of a very disloyal manager.

At least Ozzie knows how to manage a team, Dusty cannot manage for sh*t. If the Cubs want to go anywhere, get rid of Dusty, but they won't, and Ozzie knows how to motivate and manage.

Also, i have met Ozzie Guillen before and i can tell you he was a VERY nice guy, so i have nothing against him. He is one of the reasons i am happy for them.
