WOW, that is really sad. What gives these people the incentive to go out and take other people's lives. If your life sucks that much, there really is no need to take other people's lives with you as you go.

33 Confirmed Dead including the suspect. Prayers to the family. It's weird because this happened in two seperate instances. No one really knows if it was one gunman or two. This is pretty crazy.

Not only should we blame this on the video games. Now it's porn. Yes everybody, porn makes a college student go on a shooting rampage. And we should home school our children. Wow. I love simple they make this sound.

I heard about this in studio today. I seriously can't imagine this happening, I feel bad for all of the families of the victims. Our campus had a HUGE amount of cops, security, and reporters today cause of this as well. I hope they get to the bottom of this for some closure for the families.

I just read a couple of the gunman's plays that he wrote for class today. It's kind of unnerving that the teacher or fellow students didn't say much about the content. I'll admit, there was some clear indications of instability in his writing. This whole incident is a shame, I seriously feel bad for all involved!

This story is really sad. In my drama class today we had a 45 minute discussion about it. This has really made me realize how unsecure the college campuses are these days. Its' very sad, and I'm really sad having to hear that another one of these shootings has happened.
I don't know if anyone else has realized this, but a lot of the school shootings have happened within a four day span, but in different years. I don't remember the names of three of the schools, but i'm sure this isn't a coincidence. I'm assuming this has something to do with the fact that Hitler's birthday is 4/20, but think about it: Columbine Shootings: 4/20 VA Tech Shootings: 4/17 The other three were on the 17th, 18th, and 19th of April, according to my teacher. It's just crazy. 2006 visits: 20

As the cliche goes, hindsight is always 20/20. If they investigated anyone who showed any signs for depression, I'm pretty sure everyone at any campus/high school/grade school/place of work would be investigated at some point. that's just weird on how a holocaust survivor jumpedout in front of those kids to save their lifes.
Just a minor correction, the VA Tech incident was on 4/16 which fits the scenario even creepier! As for the whole college campus comment, I couldn't agree more! When the news headlines were unfolding, I could picture our school (my dorms, my architecture studio, etc.) and it's really unnerving cause most college campuses are the same. And forddude's right, there isn't much that we can do to prevent it or predict, so it's even more unsettling. However, nothing in life is 100 percent safe, so you can't live in fear! Wow, this is awful. It's really starting to seem like there's no where we can feel safe anymore.
I know there's been tons of rumors of threats going around many schools that someone's going to shoot everybody or bomb the school on 4/20 or around then. The rumor at our school is that these guys are going to shoot people at our assembly on friday. Because of this, the assembly has been canceled, police officers will be at the school, and many students aren't even going on friday because they are too freaked out. Some people's parents aren't even letting them go to school on thursday. I don't really believe that an attack will happen and will be going to school both days, but some nonbelievers think that the attack won't happen just because we live in a friendly town (well there's been some "incidents" recently but not violence related). The thing about that is that who cares if the majority of your town is friendly or not, all it takes is one pyscho for something like this to happen. /X\

We had some serious threats of gang violence and shootings today. Peoples parents were streaming in to pick them up and some whole classes had left. There were cops all around. It was pretty crazy. Nothing happened (that I know of).
The motive was he was bullied and discriminated against.
I guess kids these days are very mean and can actually drive somebody to commit mass homicide and suicide. Sad... Next Six Flags Trip

^Actualy what the motive was was that he was critized in High School, not college. He got immigrant discrimination from his teacher. I guess that he went to College with a kid from his high school and it was all vengance. Really sad. I guess he was in a psychiatric hospital just days before.
