I love iTunes and always will. And aero, if Macs are for stupid people then why do most teachers use them? If you have Limewire and iTunes, then you can download music off of Limewire straight to iTunes.
How much longer can I last until Opening Day! ARRRRGH!
I'd have to agree with Deja Vu the Ride here. Either that or they want to make sure it's impossible for their teachers to do anything that they aren't supposted to do because, common, it's a mac.

Just because your a teacher doesn't mean that your good with computers. Sure, they can do grades and power points but I can do so much more on a computer. I like having complete control over everything of mine.
Well I guess now I can say I baught a 6 gig iPod mini and it's easily the best MP3 player I've ever used. Getting my iTrip tomorrow so I'll start using the iPod a lot more.

W00dland.. I wish you luck. I also purchased a 6 GB mini about 2 months ago (free laser engraving : ) ) I recommend opening the iTrip very carefully as I gaurantee you will want to return it after attempting to use it once or twice. I gaurantee it.
It got VERY poor reception on every availble channel. Youll find yourself holding it in your hand waving it around your vehicle like a madman.
If you experience the same problem as i did, I suggest you get one of these
if you car has a cassette adapter. (I wired mine so that the wire goes through the back of the radio and into the glovebox. Not very hard)
It costs bout 10$ at walmart, gets pretty good sound quality.
Or you can always buy the iCruze adapter and accesories (300$+)
Yeah, I would use the cassete adaptor that I've had for years now the only problem is none of the cars I or my family owns have a tape deck. I'll shop around though.

Use a headphone to FM modulator. They can be bought for $10-20 at any Target, Wal-mart, or Radioshack. I use one for my CD player and DVD player. Tune your radio to 88.1,88.3,88.5, or 88.7 FM and play away.
It's fun to watch a movie on the DVD player and have surround sound throughout the car.
Mini-jack - that's one size smaller than headphone right?
If that is the case - you can buy an adapter at radioshack that snaps over the end of the headphone jack and plugs into a mini jack. It will only cost about $3 for the adapter.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
I ended up buying the Griffen iTrip Mini. So far so good in my room. I'm operating on 89.3 FM and so far you can get it on any digital tuner in the house. I'm gonna go try my car now and see how that works.

i might get an Ipod for my birthday next weekend, but it's not for sure. it's my 18th, so i told my dad i wanted either an Ipod or a digital camera, and he was looking at the ipods at best buy during our lunch break yesterday.
Only thing with iPods -- can you rip your CDs to it and also wondering, is iTunes the only music download prog you can use with that or can I use Ares or say, Walmart music downloads? I tend to like the Creative Labs players more for that reason. I just bought a Creative Zen Micro 5GB this morning....not a bad player from what I've seen so far.
Yes, you can rip CD's to it, but I'm not sure about your second question. I've had my iPod for a while and I can honestly say it is definitely worth the money.

If Wallmart allows you to download in MP3 format with no DRM then you can use it with your iPod. You go into iTunes go to File, Import File, and select the file. Napster wont work nor will Real Rhapsody.
