I really like the used a lot. They are my favorite band. I just bought thier new cd IN lOve And Death. Its awesome. My favorite song on the cd is Im A Fake or All that ive got. IF you like the used write on this topic. What is your favorite song by them. I also like Taste of Ink.
Stephen Malkmus and Pavement is where it's at. On a side note: I'm not sure if one would consider The Used hardcore, but how can anyone like hardcore? The mindless screaming and horrible music to back it up, I'm lost on how many people like it.
Im a fan of some hardcore music like as I lay dying and norma jean and unearth but I don't consider the used as hardcore and you would be surprized how hard hardcore music is on guitar and drums (in some bands) and about the screaming some people can do it good some can't if your not into heavy music then ohwell you won't like it.

Yeah, I understand some of those bands aren't bad. These kids at my school just worship Sense Fail. Or would that be emo-core?
