Yeah I would have to agree. Dave Mirra crashes after 2 tricks and doesn't do a second run and he comes in 7th place. 3 other guys who had full runs end up behind him just because of his name.

Best trick on freestyle motocross you can tell they are out of new tricks...the only one who pulled off something new was Kenny Bartrum....and he didn't get a metal even when he should have been first place.

I haven't watched any coverage this year. I really liked that body varial on best trick moto x last year. and the compeition during the high jump was absolutely insane. as far as the winter games go, I love how they choose the easiest mountain Aspen has to host the games. :? at least I can say I've snowboarded the same course as pros

No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

Well you should have seen him this year....he tried the Body Varial again and didn't make it. Hell of a crash though. They should give an award for best crash at the X-games.

They gave mirra 7th because his bike was coated in Gold. One of the judges even said.

Gahh they just sucked this year.

-Mirra shouldn't have won park.
There were so many better runs than his. I just remeber seeing alot of cool tricks up the step-up, when Mirra never utalized it.

Why is surfing even in there?

-Freestyle Motocross was an effing joke.
Is it just me...or did the backflip finally get annoying? I haven't seen any of the really good riders that used to show up, all because they can't qualify without it. Who remembers the Flyin' Hawiian? He was able to throw some really tech runs together, but now just because he can't do the flip, he can't qualify. The backflip killed the sport. And I frankly can't bear to watch it anymore.

That's all I watched yesterday, and I'll see what happens today on BMX dirt finals. I better not see favoritism.

Ever since Tony Hawk did the 900, It started to suck. They don't even have Tony Hawk on them anymore.
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

Tony Hawk retired from competition in '03...though he could never leave Double's Vert behind.

I think the most interesting thing I saw today was Supermoto. They kept it interesting with the required pit stop.

BMX Best Trick Vert was only worth watching for one reason. Kevin Robinson was trying a double flair...landed to far forward and too far back. Never made it...thanks alot Supermoto!

If nothing new comes around next year...I am officially not watching this anymore.

Didnt this used to be on ESPN? It was on ABC (I think) today. I guess ABC owns ESPN (which is owned by Disney), but why the sudden turn to ABC. That kinds is pushing the X Games away from what it wanted to be.

Go Commercialism.

We need some LeMons racing on TV.

coverage is on both channels for the sake of getting it out to more people.

Agreed, I again was watching in disbelief as they gave him the gold medal just because of his name. The X-games are killing themselves by trying to market certain athletes instead of the sports.

Whatever happened to Rollerblading and Street Luge? You don't see those on the X-games anymore because there were no big names in the events.

I believe Street Luge still has a home on the Gravity Games. they used to be on NBC for a couple years, but now I believe they are on OLN.
