Does anybody else golf on these boards? I do and I just wanted to know how many people enjoy it or dislike it. And of course, if you feel like making fun of me, go right ahead. :)

Golf is one of the most addicting, frustrating, expensive, worthless, fun, boring, difficult, and amazing games on the planet.

I enjoy golf in every form. Real, miniature, and video game golf.

I prefer tennis is the realm of gentlemen sports. My dad has always tried to get me into golf and I just don't have a passion for it. Good sport though.

Frisbee golf, I appreciate the person who is good at it because there is abotu a .001% chance that the frisbee will go straight out of my hand.

Anyways, I'm glad to see a lot of other people on this site interested in golf. Anybody got any nice home courses? I play on the Pontiac Elks Country Club. If you ever get a chance, play it. It's really cheap, yet is easily the best course in the county, maybe the best in central Illinois.

I live a block away from Olympia Fields Country Club, and while I have only had the pleasure to play on it once... I'm sure it might be a "little" better than Pontiac Elks, after all, it was seleceted as the home of a U.S. Open.

Oh yeah, Olympia Fields is awesome, I also went there for the U.S. Open and it was amazing. I mean Central Illinois as in like non-Chicagoland, if you catch my drift. I definitely know Olympia Fields is better, along with Cog Hill, among others.

ohhh.... frisbee golf is fun. I have 2 courses within 10 min from my home.

Fink Park
Danny Cunnif Park

I like Fink park better because it a bit longer.

That's cool. I too enjoy a good round of frolf. I have two courses within 20 minutes of my house.

Valley View (5 min)
Dretkza (20 min)

Valley View is a decent course but because it's so popular with the teenagers there are signs all over the place saying it's a course on "probation" meaning that if more cops spot kids smoking pot and drinking while throwing a round that the course will be shut down. Which would totally suck because I actually like to go to play the game.

What do you guys average while throwing?

I usually play match style. Usually there are no score cards so it easier to just remember up a hole or down a hole.
