In a few weeks I'm going to Chicago for a day. Not sure what I'll be doing aside from wandering around Marshall Field's and going to Millennium Park.
This winter I'm looking to finish restoring my 1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula. Now that all the coolant system issues are fixed, this winter I'm going to try and finish the front brakes (new hoses and calipers), clean off some of the rust on the underside, replace the rusting factory exhaust tips with chrome-polished stainless steel OEM style tips, install new(er) seats from a Fiero Formula that was wrecked at only 16k miles, install a new A/C Compressor, and replace the blown front speakers.
I'm also hoping to get a new camera for Christmas so I have something new to play with. If things work out correctly then I should be getting a Nikon Coolpix P80 10.1 megapixel digital camera with an 18x optical zoom.
Somewhere in Florida a village is missing its idiot. He can be found in Washington D.C.
I'm going home for Thanksgiving, then I have my finals for school. On Dec 15th I'm having my sister's baby shower at home and then on the 18th till the 26th I'm going to Utah to go visit my sister because she's going to have her baby soon.
My plans including two things. First is to do a scrapbook of this year at theme parks (have over 100 maps each of Great America and St. Louis waiting to be used as backgrounds.) The second is spend the rest of fall and winter planning for my Disney trip. 8 days/7 Nights at Caribbean Beach resort March 28-April 4. Hopefully, I can hit the other 3 Orlando parks and BG Africa as well to pick up my missing coaster credits there.
I have a few off season trips in planning and working.
I also live between the Dells and SFGAm so I'm pretty close. I usually go to the water parks and the Parthenon a few times during the winter. And sometimes if your lucky, they will have a coaster or two open if its not too cold.
I also live 5 mins away from the fastest, indoor, electric, slick track, go carts in the state. It awesome, and the acceleration is almost on par with V2 Plenty of drifting...
I also live 20 mins near a ski, snow boarding, snow tubing hill. The tubing hill is great. Its a 200 ft tall double down and has 4 bunny hill at the bottom with airtime. I think the speed is about 55-60mph.
And I can also snowmobile anywhere around my house.
Weekdays I work, Sundays I watch football, then Sat I drink heavily (well also Fri and Sun but Sat is the designated day). And that's not counting lunch beers/shots.
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073
well, this isn't quite an offseason for me, i'll be applying to grad schools/making visits to some/getting portfolios and letters for them written and completed. I've also still got my summer internship and a full course load, so my off season is busy as hell!!!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
School and going back to EPCOT, the park I visited the most this year. Plus going to DHS, MK, and maybe if it's lucky DAK. And a quick trip to BGT. Then more school, I may not even go next year to SFGAm.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
School has been keeping me busy lately and will all the way through the off season. Next week I'm going home for Thanksgiving break, and I'm going to really enjoy doing nothing for a whole week. After that, more school and then possibly a nice change of pace for a while starting in March, but I'm still not sure about that part.
Well, there's a lot of stuff to do. I have a few projects to work on for the rest of my college semester, and the day after that semester ends, December 12th, I'm leaving to go to Florida with Danhockey04 until after New Years. Then, it's back to work at Victoria Secret for most of my winter break, and back to school on the 26th of January and then I start a three day a week schedule. Besides that, I'll see some movies, go to a few plays, throw a few more parties maybe and just try to hold out for the season to begin.
I'm Planning next year. I'm Kinda like Theme Park Companies because I plan and think of trips Years in Advance. I was thinking 2009-2010 would be Northern California since Late 2005/ Early 2006.
Thinking about how much longer until I go back, head to Hometown Square & get my flash pass. Head to Bull and remember why I come back every year. Seriously, it is nice not having to worry about who is going to take me & how much money I will spend. Yes, there are people 18+ who don't drive and I don't start work until sometime in early 2009. Other than that, I enjoy shopping, gossip/news & baby sitting.
Watching Netflix - Best investment I've ever made (Besides my Six Flags membership, of course)
Also counting down the days until the season starts (I'm assuming April 22nd?) and maybe going to SFSTL and SFA in the coming weeks. (More likely the former)
