So, I do like the $1 and no tax we have here on them in Illinois but quite frankly I would rather pay the $3.50 at my old video store (Now closed) and have a bigger selection and better chance of it not being out of stock. They should also change the time to return to 10 or 11. better yet, right before midnight.

I like the selections of movies, although i wish you keep them longer. A blockbuster just closed by me and i have also been using the redbox.

I like redbox... LIKE.

There just are a few annoyances. For one, you never know whats inside the box. It usually starts with me online searching all the boxes in my area to find a title. I mean I hate standing outside trying to search through that thing while that creepy dude stands behind you. How come more of these boxes can't be inside?

Secondly, they always have such a random selection. They have like brand new releases... and the super mario brothers series...

Onetime me and my buddy were trying to watch the latest futurama movie. There were only 2 that had it in the area. We went to our closest one and the touch screen was broken. We had to call our friend who went online to see what other box had it. It was one about 20 minutes away. So we drove out there and we found out it was inside a grocery store that was long been closed. We just ended up torrenting the file.

It's an ok concept but it just needs some refinement. Although I did rent a disk in West Lafayette and returned it to my box, that was cool. I wish Blockbuster did that.

I must say I don't like RedBox. I have Netflix, and my parents are credit card Nazis, so no RedBox for us, but $1 a day is pretty expensive. Netflix is $8 a month for UNLIMITED movies.

People pay for RedBox? They send out free codes all the time. We have never paid the 100 plus times we have used it over the last 2 years.

They have very limited number of movies and the new ones are either never in or checked out for the first 3 weeks non-stop. Oak Lawn/Burbank have lost 4 video rental stores in last 5 years.

I guess I would say love Redbox when there are dvd releases I really want to see when they come out. Sure, I still might go to a rental store for an older movie, but what I notice is that if I can't find an older movie at one rental store than I can't find them anywhere. An example is Jack Frost (the evil snowman) movie. That wasn't at any rental stores, so I just bought it.

However, I haven't been in a Blockbuster forever, or Hollywood Video. There is a local rental store that is much cheaper, and has better deals than Blockbuster or Hollywood Video. No reason to go to either of those. So, to me Redbox is great for new movies I want to see right this minute.
