I am considering changing cell phone providers, I currently have Verizon Wireless now (With a Blackberry Storm) Recently the phone quality has been pretty bad, and Verizon has been really unwilling to help me. So I have Narrowed my choices to Sprint,T-Mobile or AT&T... I need some help deciding on who I should go with. Thanks in advance!
Please be as detailed as possible for me. I want to spend around $100 or so.
I am leaning towards Sprint however, I dont know anyone that has ever had Sprint, and Im kinda leaning away from T-mobile, but I know there prices are pretty decent.
Or US Cellular (cheap, GREAT service, NEVER have lost a call). US Cellular also has free nights and weekends, free mobile to mobile, and free incoming calls and texts (including media). I pay about $40 a month.
I have T-mobile, though I always stick with the free phones, but never had a problem with any of the phones. I get good coverage. I can't think of any place I've been where I don't get reception except for Holiday World and that was the same as when I had AT&T, though one or 2 places inside the park and most places in the parking lot it works. I find the prices to be pretty reasonable and customer service is pretty good. I have no complaints with T-Mobile. I also had no complaints with AT&T except for the price. That used to be my parents cell phone and they turned it over to me, only reason I switched was cause T-mobile was cheaper.

The thing that sucks about cell phones is the company with the best phones (AT&T) has the worst service and the company with the best service (Verizon) has the worst phones.
With Verizon, I have had a grand total of one dropped called in 7 years with them and it was inside the vault of a bank. I had perfect service in remote parts of the country (Iowa, Michigan, Kentucky ect.) and large cities as well.
I dropped Verizon and switched over to Sprint, got a monthly savings about about 50 dollars per month versus Verizon, Got my BlackBerry Curve free after rebate, a $100 dollar credit on my 2nd or 3rd months bill.
So I really think I made the best choice.
Not only that but I have Unlimited Calling to any cellphone on any network, unlimited nights and weekends starting at 7pm, Unlimited Internet, and Texting. and then 450 minutes to land lines per month.
I know its too late but im down with the us cell 7pm nights and weekends, free incomming texts pics vids and their call center is located in boilingbrook. everytime i have a problem, the absoulute longest ive had to wait was 10 minutes. Usually though, im instantly connected. If one call center gets too full, they can also offput it to any of their other call centers (usually oklahomas it seems)
What's really funny, is that you think I'm from the GP (General Public). When indeed, I most likely know far more about the coaster, as I've rode it multiple times.
Sprint may be cheap, but you get what you pay for when it comes to quality and customer service. I get service just about everywhere, but its never great service. I drop calls constantly and the data service is quite slow. Then again I live in Eau Claire and you live in Chicago, which probably makes a world of difference.
