Some Halloween Songs You Have Never Heard Of

A Off-Topic forum to discuss things that aren't related to the Amusement Park Industry.

Since, it's October, and I like Halloween, I would like to list some in my opinion good Halloween songs. I look at Halloween cd's, and they always have the same songs like: Purple People Eaters, Witch Doctor, Monster Mash, Ghostbusters, Werewolves of London. So, these are different good Halloween songs I have found through research that I haven't heard before, and I now enjoy more Halloween songs than before. So, I would like to share them.

Dream Warriors - Dokken
Are you Ready for Freddy - The Fat Boys
The Martian Hop - The Ran Dells
Twilight Zone - Golden Earing (Not talking about the show, but different song)
Nudist Colony of the Dead theme song- Joyce Mordoh
I was a Teenage Zombie - Fleshtones
He's Back (Man Behind the Mask) - Alice Cooper
Green Slime - Fuzztones
Jack the Ripper - Fuzztones
Dracula - The Jimmy Castor Bunch
Laurie (Strange Things Happen in This World) by Dickey Lee
Hungry like a Wolf - Duran, Duran
Pit and the Pendulumn - Nelson Olmsted
Monster Shindig by Danny Hutton
Dracula - Gorrillaz
Eat Your Brains - Jonathan Coulton
Haunting Me - Stabbing Westward
Running from this Nightmare - Tuesday Knight
Darkest Side of the Night - Metropolis
Killer Klowns theme by the Dickies
Dark Shadows Opening
Theme to X-Files
Theme to Goosebumps
Gremlins theme
Phantom of the Opera without them talking!
Screamin' Ball at Dracula Hall - Dupoints
It's Alive - Bobby Pickett & The Crypt Kickers
Me & my Mummy - Bobby Pickett & The Crypt Kickers
The Monsters Hop by Bert Convy

That's enough. There are more Halloween songs I like during this time of year.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"

The Gremlins theme, and Darkest Side of the Night are real good, too.

Just listen to just about anything by House of Krazees or Twiztid and it'll be a good Halloween soundtrack

For straight "horror music" check out Midnight Syndicate as they do the music for Halloween events (HHN, FF ect)

Also the original Halloween and Halloween 2 by The Misfits are great

If it walks like socialist, quacks like socialist, smells like a socialist, .... it's a socialist. Hope, and change we can believe in.

Allll we want to do is eat your brains. We're not unreasonable, I mean no one's gonna eat your eyes.

Those of you who enjoy The Orange Box, Jonathan Coulton wrote "Still Alive" from Portal.

As far as Halloween songs, anything by Oingo Boingo

Especially "No One Lives Forever" "Dead Man's Party" and "Insanity".
Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking, isn't thinking of.

Most anything by Nekromantix is pretty good for Halloween as well. Of course got to give it up for John Carpender's Halloween soundtrack as well.
