To me, some of these store closings has to do with poor merchandise. I'm into Halloween merchandise, and this year looks pretty bad to me seeing a lot of the new Halloween merchandise. I'm not going to buy something I don't like. Who's fault is that? Christmas last year in my opinion wasn't that good either. I used to always get those plastic blowmolds they used to sell, but now they are always the same design, and why do I need 20 million plastic pumpkins?
As for clothes, this year is the 25th anniversary of Ghostbusters, and what do they have out at Wal-Mart, Kmart, and I think Target? They have the typical Ghostbusters logo shirt. Big stinking deal. That's it? You got to be kidding me. Who if they are a Ghostbusters fan doesn't have that logo shirt? Hot Topic has better ones, but I don't like the swear word on the shirt that I would actually buy from them, but still come on Wal-Mart, Target, and Kmart? And they wonder why people don't buy? As for board games, I go to Toys R Us awhile ago, and I found 1 board game that I'm interested in. Out of so many of them, I only care for 1. And who doesn't have a Monopoly already? How many styles of that do you need? Is there nothing creative, and fun to buy anymore? How can I buy something when I'm not interested in it? However, I went to a Thrift Store, and I found 4 old ones that I bought.
If you look at the action figures in store, look at how pathetic some of them are. They are literally like 2.5 inches tall. That's ridiculous.
